Crashing Issues
Upgraded to an IPhone 13 pro max and game has repeatedly crashed. I use to love it but can’t play it anymore

Please fix this game, it keeps crashing halfway thru, it’s such a good game…

Jerky frame rate hinders what could be a great game
Why does the animation and scrolling feel so choppy even on an iPhone 13 Pro? Is it still running in 30 FPS? This is 2022, please at least update it to 60 FPS if not 120.
When compared to older games like Sky Force, Black Paradox just feels too laggy to enjoy. Fluid movement and smooth control are crucial to a hardcore shoot ‘em up.
Other than that, the artwork and music are amazing. Just a shame that the frame rate is too jarring for me to play it past the first stage.

Игра классная и качественно сделана ,но в ней есть всего семь уровней и два режима ,когда пройдёшь финального босса игра становится в разы легче и хочется чего нибудь посложней ,и именно тогда понимаешь что контента слишком мало.

A very well presented fun and challenging game
I have been looking for one of those “upgrade your ship with different weapons games” for a while and stumbled across this.
I have to say, the development and QA on this is first class. The retro visuals are very rich and satisfying, gorgeous ship design and lovely weapon effects. The sounds are chunky and give you great audio clues as to what is going on. For me, the real star is the use of haptics. You can play with the sound on zero and yet the haptics let you feel what is going on, you get a little feedback when your ship is hit and the recoil is perfectly and rewardingly linked to every shot. The haptics and visuals when you kill a boss are very cool.
The gameplay is moreish. The mechanic of upgrading your ship is balanced well. You don’t have to grind for too long to get that next little boost and you can feel the difference those little boosts make. In terms of the weapons, they are perhaps some of the best balanced weapons I have seen in any game like this. No one weapon seems over or under powered, even though they all play completely differently - and they look and feel great to fire. I really do enjoy using all of them. The QA work to get that balanced must have been perfect.
The levels are fairly short, but have a different layout every time you play. The bosses feel very hard at each first few tries, but you can learn their attack patterns quickly, it is not even that frustrating when you die and have to start over, as you have some coins to spend on a little upgrade.
Very well done to the developers, and especially QA. This is a very tight and neat game that gave me lots of hours of fun.

Choppy frame rate
The update a week ago made the frame rate choppy. I’m on an iPhone 12 Pro Max, it was handling the game easily before
