I’ve used this app a couple times, works incredibly well.
Seems ok but…
We tried to play but the other phone kept dropping out. Sure we could reconnect but this happened 4-5 times.
Also doesn’t keep track of double spawns - which would be nice.

Where’s Bruce & Ice Blast?
Until the character “Bruce” and the card “Ice Blast” are added I can’t give this app an appropriate rating. Please add these to the game and then I can provide a full rating and review.

Good, but Imprefect
When starting a game, I should only be able to see the survivors for the expansions that I own. I get that you’re advertising, but it’s thoroughly annoying having to scroll through survivors I don’t own. Also, I would appreciate the option to type the survivor I’m looking for (preferably with quick name recognition/ suggestions). I know this is a small improvement and relatively petty, but it’s another thing I have to set up in an already demanding set up. I believe this small improvement would be a great improvement over the scrolling option. Another thing I would appreciate is the option to “reset.” Sometimes all hell breaks loose in the game, and my wife and I find ourselves doomed early on. I should be able to reset the stats quickly to start a new game (with all of the survivor names/ pictures saved). As It is now, I have to re-input all names and scroll through countless survivors I don’t own to get a new game started (it’s annoying and time consuming). Last, I think it would be good to have a more prominent “Zombie’s turn” screen. This should have a checklist telling you to move the zombies, check for any attacks, and spawn new zombies at all spawn points. The current “zombie turn” text scrolls by in an instant and is easy to miss if my eyes aren’t glued to the screen. I’ve missed it several times and have had to go back/ restart when I’ve realized that my survivors have had way too many turns without zombies. Other than that, it’s a wonderful app. I’m really just trying to help improve it. Take care.

Nearly perfect
Very useful! We now use it all the time instead of the plastic dashboards. The only thing missing is a reset button to start again the same campain without having to reconfigure the entire game.

Green Horde content - at last - awesome!
Great opening, need UX polish
Love this aid! Withholding a star for the UX gaps that frustrated this veteran player:
Zombie turn is next to absent. I found that it simply wasn’t at all managed. Understandably, it’s a displaced experience as the game is taking place “off camera” if you will. However, it should be a guided mode in-app, not simply a marque wiping across the screen. Pause and present Attacks with the heroes arrayed for resolution selection. Done, advance to Move. Done, advance to Zombie Deck. Done, advance to next player turns.
Equipment and Zombie decks should have visible discard piles to provide some indication of progress though the deck, and the last ten, five, or three cards slightly “open” or “fanned” to visualized the end of the deck is approaching. Borrow ideas from Forgotten Island or any solitaire game on the app store.
Trade should have a drop icon to open the hero/player drawer.
Defence or Armor rolls felt unpolished, but maybe just needs an introduction screen somewhere.

Great until Green Horde came out
It’s a very handy app, but it’s missing the green horde content which has been out for quite a while now.

First player turn order doesn’t change correctly
Zombicide modern app does this properly : first player moves “clockwise round the board”. This Black Plague app doesn’t do this, it’s the same order every round.

Would also like to be able to just use the app to manage the equipment and spawn decks and not have the app manage the hero players at all.

Great App - please add support for Friends & Foe
I really like using the app. Currently I am using it for Black Plague and Wulfsburg. I like it for keeping up with the next player, player stats and drawing the zombie cards. It makes keeping track of everything much easier. We enjoy drawing the equipment cards separately so haven’t used that feature yet. Only disappointment is that I just ordered the Friends & Foe expansion and the app doesn’t support it even though the expansion is supposed to work with Black Plague, Green Horde or both. Please update the app as I don’t want to stop buying expansions....

Gigantic app
Over 900MB? That’s completely unnecessary. Pare this down, compress some images, optional downloads, something... I’m not giving a gig to one app - that’s insane.

Green Horde?
It’d be nice if they’d add compatibility with Green Horde, all its expansions, and the Horde Box. After all, even though it’s a stand alone game, it was meant to be fully integratable with Black Plague.

Where is Green Horde? This app needs to be updated every time you release a new set, or it’s useless.
Great Tool for the Game
I find this tool especially helpful when playing a grand campaign. Large board with more characters than dashboards, this tool solves the problem of not enough table room for characters. Looking for a green horde update, that would be nice.

I really love this app. It makes the game run smoothly when you don’t have to shuffle all the cards or fiddle with all the dashboard organization. The game app takes care of it all for you. Leaving much more space on the table for zombies and other miniatures. Being able to join multiple apps together is brilliant and very easy to do. I would love to see them develop apps like this for other games, especially Massive Darkness! (OMG please!!) Are there improvements that could be made? Sure. And hopefully they’ll continue to update this app going forward. I’d love to be able to fine tune what expansions are in play (more so than it is now), but that’s a minor thing. A+++ on this one CMON (and whoever developed this app).

Excellent app for Z:BP
I’d say this is a near perfect companion app. We had some issues when one survivors phone died and player controlled characters got randomly assigned to other players. We weren’t able to return control to the correct players. Even still, it was easy enough to restart and get everything back to where we had it quickly.
The only other thing I’m hoping for is an update for Zombicide: Green Horde and it’s expansions to be added to the app. Maybe it can be updated after they’ve fulfilled the Kickstarters this summer?

Some issues
Good: Has all the survivor, zombie, and item cards from various expansion sets, dice rolls, survivor management, looks good.
Bad: Some connection issues at times. Can't switch apps, or you'll disconnect. Handles only six survivors. Problems dragging items into inventory.
Suggestions: Current player turn indicator could be more visible. Too easy to miss zombie turn, as the message is temporary. Maybe add some zombie sound effects.
