Functions, but incredibly low effort app

I think to sum it up, one of the FAQs in the help section for my dehumidifier is as follows:

Q: The device only blinks few seconds when I reset it.
A: Dear users, Thank you very much for your suggestions, we will feedback them to the relevant departments for evaluation. Of course, because the flashing time of the product is determined by the manufacturer, you can also send your very good suggestion to them, so that they also realize that the product or product's control page still has huge room for improvement. Thanks again for your suggestions, we will make our best efforts to provide users with a better experience! Thank you for your understanding and support, and I wish you a happy life!

In what world is that an appropriate answer to a frequently asked question? Is this app ran by the manufacturer or not? Why is Black and Deckers name on this app?

All ok apart from colours

All working fine apart from the app colours for the air cooler. They icons are feint blue so hard to see especially the water on off. I suggest the colours are changed or make the water on off a option like the others have or finally allow dark mode.

Garbage app

The app for this is absolute garbage. Thr whole point was the smart tech and being able to turn the ice on and off. You can’t do that in the app. Ridiculous

Nope

I spent enough on the hardware I like the idea of Wi-Fi control I don’t need another login registration blah blah blah. Why do I need to be registered? No thanks it’s an uninstall from me.

Basic but works

Very basic app. Does what it needs to do. Can’t understand some negative comments. Nice and easy to use

Smart 7L digital air cooler

There’s no option to turn on the water cooling function via the app, can only do it via the remote/ touch screen. Bit annoying

Current temp

Wish it would show the current temperature as well as the temp you have it set at like some competitors. Take Della it’ll show I have it set for 68 degrees and that it’s 70 degrees in the space that it’s being used at.

Ac timer shows Celsius

Got this for my portable AC. Does what I need it to do but in the timer settings it display temperature in Celsius even when switched to Fahrenheit. So when the time is activated the unit starts at the wrong temp

Awful

Wish I could give zero stars but unfortunately can't. We Brought a 3 in 1 airconditioning unit tried to pair the device manually and the model purchase isn't listed!!! Absolutely awful app. So we will use the unit by the remote control. Once again the app is useless.

Explain why my robot from black and decker won’t update

I have it all set up the way it should be. All that is left is an update. I have kept my phone on top of the roomba like robot and every single time I try to update it, it always says that it timed out and to keep my phone next the router and to stay on the app. That is exactly why I have been doing and so far, nothing. It always says it times out when there is zero interference. This needs to be fixed please.

would give 0 stars if I could

doesn’t even connect to my ac at all

Works but only just

Horrible UI really hard to read and see controls. Text is poor contrast so for example I just set a timer - I have no idea if it worked or not. There is no way to see how long is left on the timer or if a timer is set.

A major problem for an app designed to control an appliance (which in itself is an accessibility feature) this app does not work with dynamic fonts or VoiceOver.

First time I tried to get it to connect it failed as does not support 5Ghz WiFi signals. App said I had to reset my air con unit to try again. I could find no reference for how to do this in the manual or online. I unplugged it for a few minutes and this did the trick and I was able to connect to 2.4Ghz signal.

By that point the app knew what device I was trying to connect so why not just tell me to unplug it to reset?

Impossible to use

Doesn’t connect to Internet absolutely impossible to use, and apparently that is well known with programmers

Complete and utter garbage

I bought their smart radiator. The radiator itself is great at heating the place, but one of the points of buying it was to use the app to control when it turns on in the morning to heat the room.

I was hoping it would work directly through my phone over Bluetooth. Not an option. So I bit the bullet and bought a router to setup a network for the heater. But it just won’t connect. Changed security settings etc, and everything appears like it should. But it just throws out an error saying it failed to connect, and lists all the things to check, all of which I have already done.

Absolute waste of time and money. Very frustrated! If 0 stars was an option, I’d give that.

Set up

Says it's an easy set up but doesn't give you a video from the QR code and it's hard to find who to contact to trouble shoot. Very frustrating with the appearance of a quick and easy set up

Handy app

Works fine seen a lot of bad reviews but works great for me and handy no matter where I am and connected to my Alexa first try

Didn’t connect

App doesn't connect to device and I don’t want to lower security on my wifi to get it to…

Waste of time & money

BLACK+DECKER BXEH60013GB I tried to connect through app no luck product is not a user friendly and not simple to operate.

The app works

The app works on iPhone 12 pro with ios17.6.
However in order for it to work on WiFi you need to reduce the security on your network from wpa2-wpa3 to wpa2-wpa in the router.
Then when you plug the dehumidifier in hold down the button with the house on it for 3 seconds and the app should find your device. Then follow on screen prompts.
The problem is do your really want to reduce your WiFi security for a dehumidifier just so you can control it with your phone etc instead of getting up and doing it. Think about that.
