About

Black Queen is a fast-paced bidding card game for 4 to 10 players — play with friends online or take on the bots offline. No account needed. Just enter a name and play. HOW IT WORKS Before a single card is played, there's an auction. Players look at their hand and decide whether to bid. The highest bidder wins the auction and becomes the Bidder — committing to capture a target number of points for their team. The Bidder then picks a trump suit and secretly names one or two partner cards. Whoever holds that called card is their hidden ally. Nobody knows who the partner is — not even the partner themselves — until that exact card hits the table. Then the game begins. Each round, every player plays one card. You must follow the suit that was led if you can. If you can't, play anything — including trump. The highest trump wins the round. If no trump was played, the highest card of the led suit wins. The winner of each round leads the next one. THE GOAL The Bidder's team wins if they collect enough points to meet or beat their bid. The opponents win if they can stop them. The round can end early the moment the outcome is mathematically decided — no need to play every last card. POINT CARDS Queen of Spades — 30 points Each Ace — 20 points Each Ten — 10 points Each Five — 5 points All other cards are worth zero points but still win rounds. OPEN AUCTION BIDDING Passing is never permanent. If someone raises the bid after you pass, you're back in the auction. The last player standing with the highest bid wins — and takes full responsibility for making it happen. HIDDEN PARTNER SYSTEM The Bidder calls a card — for example, the Ace of Hearts. Whoever holds it is secretly on the Bidder's team. They don't reveal themselves until they play that card. Until then, every player is guessing who the partner might be. It changes how you play every single hand.
