Wow, this product is terrible
I now cannot log in to the app, only desktop. It was working a few months ago, but now it isn’t. So, in the event of an actual emergency, I have to be sure to have my laptop handy. Yes, that is as ridiculous as it sounds.
Doesn’t Work
Login credentials work fine on a browser. They won’t work on the app. Developers never responded to my email. Kinda pointless to even have this app. It isn’t like we pay for it.
Does not work on my iPhone.

No update in three years, and boy does it show
Hey blackboard, your service is expensive. How about updating this ugly app so it doesn’t give us flashbacks to the iPhone 3G?
App not working
App was working well and was easier than the computer. Now, every time I attempt to set message time.. the app closes and I lose everything
Outdated, poor interface
The online access from a computer is great to use, however there are times in an emergency that you might not have a computer but have your phone. However this app would make it so much harder to send out a message.
The UI is cumbersome and not friendly to navigate whatsoever. I get lost frequently with it.
There is also a character limit on the mobile app for text alerts but when using the computer portal there is no limit.
Please give this a huge makeover and get it to where it can be

Needs updating ASAP
Since Apple made the IOS update recently my blackboard won’t even open saying it’s not compatible with IOS. Please fix I use this app daily. Well I did.
Could Be Better
I wish the app provided access to pre-configured templates - would make message sending that much easier. Touch ID would also be a welcome addition.
Easy to use and gets the job done!
I'm surprised at all the negative reviews... Half of the people that left negative reviews are students who downloaded the wrong app and the other half that left negative reviews don't know how to use the app...
The app is simple to use people! As an admin, I am able to login with the same username/password that I use to login to the web. All within a few taps in the app I have the ability to record a live message using the mic on my device, type out an email and/or SMS, select all or a group of contacts and finally schedule a message to go either immediately or in the future. I can even select saved messages that I had created in the website! What more can anyone ask for all within a mobile app!

NOT FOR STUDENTS
This app is ONLY for administrators. If you're a student, do NOT download. Useless
Only for administrators, so make the name clearer!
This app is only for Blackboard Connect administrators, so why not call it Blackboard Connect Admin? For that matter, why have a separate app at all? Poor naming led to me downloading and installing an app I couldn't use (since I'm a user, not an administrator).
Can't record
Won't let me record my phone message. This app has great potential, as of this moment it isn't very useful.
Cumbersome to use
It's a great idea, but difficult to use. You have to call Blackboard Connect to be able to log in; you can't just use your current name and password. Once in, if you need to jot notes on your message before recording you'll get logged out and you lose everything. The time before auto log-out needs to be extended to a few minutes. It could become very useful with some important revisions. Until then I'm deleting it.

Needs improvement
Gets the job done but watch out if you get a text or phone call while preparing a message. App logs you out upon any interruption. Very annoying when you've spent time creating the message and scheduling it to be sent out and poof it's gone.
Does not work
This app will not allow login to even access the system.
Fast but be careful with the time zone
It's easy to use but the time zone always defaults to pacific time....and then you can't change the time after its scheduled

Great for the administrator who is on the go. All the functionality on my mobile device.
Wow!
Phenomenal app! I can't believe how easy it is to create messages now. Makes me feel a little weird, how easy it is to release an emergency message to so many people now =].
