When launching this app and I have copied text from Notes, I see “BJR Classic pasted from Notes.” This game has no need for whatever might be on your clipboard, so this appears to be a serious violation of privacy.
Great game functionality, poor privacy
Several time when I launch this app, iOS 14 says “BJR pasted from SafeInTheCloud”. It seems to grab the contents of whatever is in the paste buffer on launch - which could be sensitive personal information it has no need for.
Be careful using this application! it steals your personal information for some purpose that isn’t for your benefit.

I do t get it.
I just want to play black jack. Where’s the dealers cards? Why is it showing me the next card, I don’t understand.
Update makes it unplayable
I liked this game for a long time, it's a fun challenge that requires focus and quick reactions. The new update however destroyed the game and I am deleting it. It now has a giant flashing ad bar on top of the screen that is so distracting I find it impossible to play the game. If they look at other apps they could see that ads can be integrated without ruining the game. I would bother to install.

Phone Good, Watch Bad
Phone app is pretty neat, but the watch app isn't so great. Button placement isn't well thought out. Hit and Hold buttons should be moved to the bottom. And the touch response makes it unusable; you have to touch the buttons repeatedly before you get a response

Addicting game
I used to play this one nonstop on the Palm Treo. Fun game. My only complaint is the fun of setting high scores has now been ruined by a money grab of purchasing "redos" and it will basically be impossible to reach the high score list without lots of redos. You need an all-21 board on every round (3) and even with perfect play that only happens about 1 in 25 or so each round so you'll be playing for decades trying to set a top score without redo, which you have to purchase packs of.

You absolutely destroyed the game
The person singing praise to this retro-new interface must be a seahorse software person. The old product's interface is nicer and richer than this crap, and if the audience fizzled in the past is because simply this game is not intended for the massive kind of audience of an "angry birds" game. Yes you hooked this 3.x version to Game Center and simplified the interface. You destroyed it!!!. Do you have a usability lab? Did you conduct a single focus group? Do not destroy the paid version introducing the crap you put in this light version!

Terrible Update
V2 ruined my favorite game. Fortunately was able to retrieve old version from itunes.

Classic Layout: Movable scores?
I haven't updated to 2.3 after downgrading to 1.x, so I don't know for sure, but: Can you move the score on the Classic Layout to the right of the cards, like you could in 1.x? If not, then please add this option, as the way I hold my iPod means I can't see the scores when they're on the left.
Better yet, ditch the 2.x code altogether and resubmit the 1.x code as version 3. Let's just all pretend that v.2 never happened...

Best. App. Period (Or at least it used to be!)
MY OLD REVIEW: This is by far the best application in the app store for entertainment purposes. (The facebook app is much better than mobile facebook, but has a couple problems.) I would gladly pay for this game, and I have gotten all my friends addicted. Download this game!

MY NEW REVIEW: The last "update" really brought the game down off it's high pedastal of my favorite iPod app. Having in score on the opposite side of the hand you are using is invaluable and should be an option in the free version. Others opitions are dlso missing and some beq scoring options are now used I wish I could toggle on and off. I don't like that I'm almost compelled to buy the full version when the past free version was one of the best apps out there.

Ruined a great game with ads
Have to say adding the ads to the app really is disappointing. Understand having a pop up asking if you'd like to upgrade but the ads is a bad move by the developer.
Still Using Version 1.7.1
As others point out, the current UI design is just terrible. I'm glad I kept my old version; I pulled it out of Trash. For those who are new, I really don't think this app is worth playing. It's just too much, UI is a mess! Keep it clean and simple; it was addicting enough to get me play for hours back then.

Used to be a great app--poor implementation of iAds makes it almost unplayable for reasons described by others--e.g.unresponsive, touch screen parameters are wrong.
