Great for basic start, NOT a blackjack betting game
I wanted a program for just getting basic strategy into my head, and this was the perfect program. Memorizing the table and different hit/stay/double strats are great. Also training the hand signals with gesture based commands is wondrous.
Don't expect a let's see the hand of the dealer and bet blackjack game...it's just a basic strategy guide in game form.
Very good at what it is, so don't expect something it is not...namely a betting/card shuffling blackjack game. It's built for learned basic strategy only.

Good start but incomplete
This is a fair start as a Blackjack trainer. Unfortunately, it does not present a card after you hit. Many difficult choices can come up after receiving that card. You can still make many mistakes at that point, thus nullifying your edge you have from making correct choices in the initial action.
If the developers wish to make this trainer truly effective, they'll add an extended play option.

Thanks for the review! FYI, the odds in basic strategy are barely changed as more cards get dealt - it’s all about the value of your hand and the likely value of the dealer - so yes, while technically if there is one fewer card in the deck of a particular value because that card was just dealt to you, your odds (and therefore the strategy) remain the same.
