About
Learn and practice blackjack basic strategy — the mathematically optimal play for every hand you can be dealt.
FOUR TRAINING MODES
- Hint — the recommended move is shown as you play
- Advise — the answer stays hidden until you ask for it
- Warn — play freely, and get a second chance whenever you deviate
- Test — call the play yourself, then find out whether you were right
Or switch training off entirely and just play.
THE FULL STRATEGY CHART, BUILT IN
Hard totals, soft totals and pairs, with your current hand marked so you can see exactly where the recommendation comes from — the row for your total, the column for the dealer's up card, and the cell where they meet.
Every recommendation comes from the basic strategy tables published by the Wizard of Odds, Michael Shackleford.
SEE WHERE YOU ACTUALLY GO WRONG
Every decision is compared against the correct play and recorded. The progress view paints your own record onto the strategy chart — the cells you have mastered, the cells you have never met, and which wrong move you keep making in each one. A sortable table gives you the same thing as numbers.
PRACTICE THE TABLE YOU WILL ACTUALLY SIT AT
Basic strategy is not one chart. It changes with the rules. Set the number of decks, whether the dealer hits or stands on soft 17, double after split, resplitting aces, hitting split aces, surrender, no hole card — and the strategy tables reload to match your settings.
DESIGNED FOR PRACTICE
- Customizable card design, so the table looks the way you want it
- Assign any action to any gesture — tap, swipe, double tap or long press
- Your hand is saved if you close the app mid-round
No ads. No sign-up. No real money. Nothing to cash out. Just practice.

Stats and Progress now follow your rule settings. - The correct play at a few spots changes with the number of decks, soft 17 and double after split — 11 against an Ace, the pairs that depend on doubling after a split, the surrender hands. Decisions made under different rules are no longer counted together, so a cell can now read as untested when you change a setting. - The strategy chart and the Stats screen both show which rules they are for. - Because of this change, per-hand statistics start fresh.
