Work okay on dark background
The widget still has a little black highlight where the app name would be. it a little annoying

Yay, it works in iOS 18 now! So the app's features are: create a blank widget, and if you want to, edit that widget (by holding it in your home screen) to add text and a link (website, phone number, or"manual input" which can be used for other apps' url schemes) to it. The ad frequency is adequate, and the difference between the paid and free versions is that you can only save two different wallpapers in the free version. You can't get to the screen that lets you replace a wallpaper with a new one if you have two saved, so if you do the blink name trick you only have one slot, but that should be enough.
The cool part is it only needs to offer one widget of each size for the home screen and everything else is done through widget options. You add the wallpaper you're using in the app, place one of the widget sizes in your home screen, hold/tap to edit its settings, tinker with everything you want to change and bam! Instant blank widget! (If you change your wallpaper often, choose a name like "current" to give to your current wallpapers and set all widgets to "current". Then whenever you switch, call the new wallpaper "current" and all widgets will switch to the new background!)
It has a blank name, so it's blank both in small and in large mode (and switches background as soon as you switch the mode).
If I had to pick one way to improve this, it'd be to let us select fonts for the text. Even five fonts can make a huge difference if they're well chosen! It'd also be amazing if there was a shortcut action (or url scheme) to switch files/wallpapers because I like randomly switching my wallpaper with Shortcuts, but I know that's a big thing to ask for so I understand if it can't be done.

No title and lets you write text
I loved this app because first of all, it had no title so there was no ugly text under my widgets, and second, you could use the widgets as blank spaces or you could actually write text on each instance you placed on your home screen (by tapping the widget itself and changing the settings), without having to save multiple widgets in a limited number of slots like some apps do. I used the widgets both for blank spaces and as titles for the stuff in my home screen, it was great!
Sadly the app hasn't been updated iOS18 yet, and I don't know if it'll be since the last update was an year ago. Two of the things I said might have become default behavior with the update, but this is still the only app I've seen with that text feature, so I'm not uninstalling!

Amazing app to customise Home Screen
I wanted to be able to shift icons towards the bottom right corner of the screen and this app lets you do that seamlessly! It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for !!
Literally the best blank widget app out
I’ve downloaded so many blank widget apps and they only let u do like one at a time and it’s annoying bc when i change focus and stuff to switch home screens it gets all messed but this one lets u do more than 1 at a time and it’s literally so good
Exactly what I wanted
Blank widgets with different home screens. Every other app only allows blank widgets for one home screen. The filename feature is exactly what’s missing from the other apps. 5/5👍
Widget Doesn’t Appear in Widget Menu
When I try to add the widget to my Home Screen with the + sign, it doesn’t appear and I am using an iPhone.

It Doesn’t Work on my iPad Air
I just purchased your Blank & Blink Widget for my iPad Air for $1.99. I created my screenshot as per the directions. I named and saved it as a widget. But here is when the problem began. I followed the procedures on how to add my widget to the Home Screen and after I touch the “+” and typed the letters Bl/bl, Blank, blank, the app, Blank & Blink, NEVER appeared on my screen so that I could finish the process! I have spent over 2 hours messing with this!
I have already successfully used the app, MD Blank, for my iPhone 13 pro max, so I understand the procedures to install the transparent widget. I only gave a 1 because I couldn’t give you a zero! I had high hopes that this app would work that’s why I spent so much time trying to ensure that I followed the directions🙁
At this time, I just want a full refund!
