Hi Lexi! Thanks for the review! Hot Horse isn't a weather app; it's designed to help you decide when conditions are right to ride or turn out your horse. That said, weather data does appear throughout the app as context for those recommendations. You'll find temperature, wind, and current conditions displayed directly on each horse's recommendation card. Tapping a card opens a detail view with hourly and daily forecasts, including temperature highs/lows, apparent temperature, wind speed, and a temperature chart. The Upcoming Riding Conditions section also uses weather data to show you which windows in the coming days look best for your horse. The key thing to know: we fetch weather for your horse's location, not your device's location. If the weather context isn't showing up, make sure you've set a location for your horse. You can do this by adding an address or dropping a pin on the map in the horse's detail view — no location permissions required. Version 2.6.0 that fixes the issues is available now. This is actually a major update, so please give it another try when it is available. Also, the app follows the phone's settings regarding celsius and Fahrenheit. We are in the US, and we see Fahrenheit. If you continue to have the problem, please contact us through Feedback in App.

I missed this review earlier. I reviewed my emails from June to September of 2023, and I could not find any. If they went to spam, they are long gone. The app has been recently updated, and I invite you to come try it again. User feedback has been greatly improved, so you can get help more easily.

Version 2.6.0 is available using Apple Weather. That being said, different services are better in different areas. Please give it another try and see if the weather is more accurate for you.

I regret that you are having that issue. That is a symptom of a connection problem between your device and the internet. The complete message is "The network is running very slowly. Please consider checking later." Please contact me and we can see if we can work through whatever issues you are experiencing.

We are glad you are enjoying Hot Horse. We wanted to make sure you were aware that if you are subscribed you can add your own horse to Hot Horse, and designate that horse as being clipped (as well as age, body condition, etc.) to further customize the recommendations. You can find the instructions for this on the Settings page which is accessed by the Gear icon in the upper left corner. Our email is at the end of the instructions should you have additional questions. Also, please let us know if you have any suggestions as we are always looking to improve Hot Horse. We have horses too, and use Hot Horse ourselves.

While I am sorry that you did not choose Hot Horse for your blanketing needs, I do appreciate the interest. I would be happy to discuss any concerns you may have if you feel like contacting me directly at AlelinApps @gmail.com (remove the space). It sounds like you enjoyed the Pro version of the app when you had it for free, and I would appreciate your feedback. As I am sure you are aware, quality weather information is costly, and other free apps can have spotty data as a result. Hot Horse allows you to see up to a week ahead, more than other apps, in an easily viewable format. And there is more to come. Good luck, and I do hope to hear from you.
