This app is designed for scanning nearby BLE devices and establishing serial communication with them. It allows you to control microcontrollers that use BLE modules like HM-10 or BT-05, enabling you to send and receive commands for debugging hardware.
Key features include separate panels for sending and receiving data, the ability to create custom buttons for frequently sent commands, monitoring data in both ASCII and HEX formats, and options for auto-sending commands at timed intervals. You can also select to send \r \n at the end of data and generate log files.
The app is free to download and use, but it does contain advertisements. There is an option to remove these ads through an in-app purchase, offering a cleaner user experience.
The app is designed to work with smartphones for controlling any microcontroller that uses BLE modules such as the HM-10 or BT-05, which are based on Texas Instruments CC254x chips.
You can use the app to send and receive commands via BLE to your connected microcontroller. This allows you to monitor the data flow, send specific commands to test functionality, and receive responses, all of which are crucial for identifying and resolving hardware issues.
