About

Your phone could help bring someone home. BLEA silently scans for Bluetooth Low Energy signals from medical devices belonging to missing persons. If your phone passes within range of a matching signal, GPS coordinates are reported directly to verified law enforcement. You won't even know it happened. Every phone running BLEA is a node in a crowd-sourced search network. The more people with the app, the wider the detection net. One person walking past the right location is all it takes. How It Works Install the app and grant Bluetooth and location permissions. That's it. BLEA runs silently in the background. No buttons to press, no alerts to watch for. When a family reports a missing person with a Bluetooth-enabled medical device such as a pacemaker or neurostimulator, the device's unique signal is added to the scan list. If your phone detects a match, the location is reported automatically. Privacy First All detection data goes exclusively to verified law enforcement. Family members see only detection counts and timestamps through a secure portal. BLEA never shares, sells, or publishes location data. We do not track your location. Coordinates are only captured at the moment a matching signal is detected. There are no ads, no subscriptions, and no personal data collected. BLEA is a public safety initiative. Built for humanity.
