Hello jcurreee, sorry for the delayed response here, and thank you for taking the time to submit valuable feedback. We are working on updates to help smooth out some of the onboarding as well as provide in-app guidance just like you stated, so hopefully these updates will help with that. It is always going to be a bit more confusing when you're dealing with an extra connection for every user. To your second point, I can see your concern, but at the same time, this process is what differentiates us. Our thought is that currently, if you wanted to look for yourself, you're much better off using an established app, so why would you try a different app if you just wanted to look for yourself? The goal is for the app to be made up of individuals who DO want to make matches for their friends and family, because we believe this process will drive more high quality matches that are intended for relationships, not just hooking up.
