This allowed me to get through multiple books I have had on my list. With my busy schedule I have found it hard to dedicate time to reading full books. Blinkist has helped close that gap.
The Ambition penalty
Women are expected to pay a severe penalty on regular basis for having an ambitions. It’s never one to one comparison between man and woman in work places. Actions that are considered admirable for man is considered troubling for woman. This needs to change. It will need first recognition to identify that this bias exists. Secondly, we will need to start taking steps to make it equitable for woman.

I was setting up the app but as soon as I seen a photo of someone with 5 starts next to him and a name called Paul, with a detailed review saying "This is simply the smartest app that exists... It's much nicer to spend your time learning new knowledge with key ideas from books, rather than spending hours browsing social media." But then it turns out the photo is 97% fake ai misleading to be a real review and that’s untrustworthy to me so uninstalled instantly, if they do that just on the setup screen then what do they actually put into your minds

New viewpoint
The soundtrack was very relaxing, but riveting. I was able to focus entirely on the message and to leave by my daily issues aside. I s also liked the idea of learning in a peripatetic mode.

Is delightful you wake up in the morning to hear someone read a book to you because sometimes. It can be a challenge to just read a whole book for the day that’s my challenge for the day today is Sunday, 16 August and I need to finish reading my book.

My Initial Blink
I had to make time for this todsy & I’m so glad I did ! I taught Health in Middle School years ago & did an in depth ( for 7th & 8th Graders) session on the ❤️ & the brain. I’d forgotten so much & realize I am guilty of THINKING I am multitasking while resly just distracting MYSELF ! I’m going to be more conscientious going forward & hope I csn come back yo this.

First, the library is surprisingly limited! Many popular and key titles I searched for simply aren't available.
Second, the customer support is a complete dead end. Whenever you run into an issue and reach out for help, all you get are canned responses along the lines of "sorry you're running into this problem," with absolutely zero action taken to actually fix or resolve the issue. Apologies don't solve problems. Save your money and look for better alternatives.

I was willing to subscribe
I did the free trial and really liked it, but then when it came up at $140 I cancelled because it’s too expensive. I went to cancel and it gave me $70 off so I was willing to subscribe, however, after navigating through the billing prompts I got to a dead end. When I contacted support, I got an AI response that was not helpful. So I just cancelled completely. Sad because I actually liked the app.

Totally over rated
The app is full of tired books and the list wears out fast. I signed up for a 7 day trail and on day 5 canceled but still got charged the full amount. Don’t fall for it
