Downloads

The app is OK, but my biggest frustration is that before I leave home I ask it to download the Blink of the day as I know the signal will cut out on the train.. Yet 30 mins later.. No download and you can see why or progress.. Please sort this.

Mattering

Well done and timely.

Don’t waste your money if you want downloads

This app has a real problem with downloads. They sometimes work, then don’t, sometimes work after uninstalling and reinstalling, and sometimes not. Poor.

Amazing books summary

Onboarding questions lost me before I even use it

I understand the need for personalization, but Blinkist takes it way too far. The initial questionnaire feels like an invasion of privacy and asks deeply personal questions (like sexual satisfaction) that have absolutely zero bearing on my reading preferences. It made me uncomfortable and frustrated before I even started. I wish the app would just let me choose my interests directly instead of trying to psychoanalyze me. I'm sure the content is great, but this initial hurdle killed my motivation to use it.

Didn’t warn me about free trial ending

Subscribed to the free trial to test it out, it ended up asking if I wanted to receive a notification 2 days before the subscription ends which I hit yes on and went on with my day. Never got the notification and now Apple support isn’t refunding me. $140 down the drain..

Best money I’ve ever spent

This app is truly the best gift I’ve ever given myself. I use it every single day

Great App

This allowed me to get through multiple books I have had on my list. With my busy schedule I have found it hard to dedicate time to reading full books. Blinkist has helped close that gap.

The Ambition penalty

Women are expected to pay a severe penalty on regular basis for having an ambitions. It’s never one to one comparison between man and woman in work places. Actions that are considered admirable for man is considered troubling for woman. This needs to change. It will need first recognition to identify that this bias exists. Secondly, we will need to start taking steps to make it equitable for woman.

Waist of money

Hear me out

I was setting up the app but as soon as I seen a photo of someone with 5 starts next to him and a name called Paul, with a detailed review saying "This is simply the smartest app that exists... It's much nicer to spend your time learning new knowledge with key ideas from books, rather than spending hours browsing social media." But then it turns out the photo is 97% fake ai misleading to be a real review and that’s untrustworthy to me so uninstalled instantly, if they do that just on the setup screen then what do they actually put into your minds

New viewpoint

The soundtrack was very relaxing, but riveting. I was able to focus entirely on the message and to leave by my daily issues aside. I s also liked the idea of learning in a peripatetic mode.
I look forward to future episodes and experiences.

The seven sin

Is delightful you wake up in the morning to hear someone read a book to you because sometimes. It can be a challenge to just read a whole book for the day that’s my challenge for the day today is Sunday, 16 August and I need to finish reading my book.

Love this app

Perfect app for lazy ambitious individuals or neurodivergent individuals.

Idk Gng

You gotta pay for stuff

Sneaky

This app doesn’t tell you that it is a subscription until you have filled in a questionnaire - it should be honest and state In app purchases on the listing in the App Store.
