App doesn’t connect to device anymore :(
It’s just alright
The app is buggy and needs updating. The device itself is perfect, but the app takes way too long to load.
Infuriating
This app is infuriating. It takes several seconds to load on the home screen, If I click the wrong button, a notice will pop up for several seconds and I can’t click anything else on the app until it disappears. Once the app finally loads, it then never connects to my device even though I have it saved. I forgot my device to try and reconnect, and now it won’t connect to my device at all. It’s a clunky app and it’s really unfortunate that I have to rely on this to operate my device. The app is virtually unusable.

Awful app
I wouldn’t have bought the evolve if I knew how bad the app is. I just want to turn the timer off so it stops shutting off.

That’s all I can really say about this app in a positive light.
The UI is very clunky and takes a long time to load.
Why have a long annoying intro to your app if you include a skip button I’m going to press every time, just get rid of the intro all together.
The app functions as intended and operates my lights, but the user experience leave much to be desired.

I hate it so much! My grandma and papa got me this night light ceiling light that projects on the ceiling, I love the device itself, so I decided to download the app so I could control it in my bed at night, and , ik this sounds so lazy, i dont wanna get up to turn it off! 🗣️”Why dont u like the app??”

Also if this seems like a hateful review, I’m just trying to help people so they don’t waste hours on some silly dumb app, sry
P.S, how do u change the colors of this ceiling light projector? Also, this deserves not even one whole star.

Like the product, but the app is garbage
Really like the light, but I’ve had it for several years and no one has ever still updated the freaking app timer. It is horrible. It makes zero sense. I’ve tried setting it like it’s a 24 hour clock, I’ve tried setting it as a relative timer… Nothing works it turns on and off Via some other time that is arbitrary. It’s extremely frustrating and makes me hate the product. And it’s been years. People have been talking about how the timer function does not work and they have not done anything about it. I would not recommend this product because of the app.

Long loading time
Why does it take a millennium for the app to pair with the blisslight? Seriously!
Just the timing
I love the customization you can do, I just wish the timer actual worked correctly. It’s chosen to only come on twice by itself at the scheduled time since getting it years ago. I want it to go on at 6 & shut off after 4 hours. It does shut off on shut off time when I have to turn it on cause it didn’t.

Lights are fun but the app is absolute trash
Klunky, slow, annoying pairing process, unfriendly UI, and it keeps crashing!!!
Lights are alright app is subpar
When I purchased, I thought I would be able to make the lights pink. Closest I can get is purple. App also takes FOREVER to load. Nobody cares about a flapping butterfly or wants to fast forward through it. That being said, the lights have lasted me 4 years now and I use them almost every night. They’re really relaxing and project well in large spaces. Only three color options and the app is trash though.

Would give it a 0 if I could
I only downloaded this app because I bought the skylight from Amazon however, utilize in this app made me want to almost return the product. The app is very outdated and slow not to add lazily built.
PLEASE make a dark mode
The app works fine, it’s just a FLASH BANG anytime I open the app. People are using these lights where it is dark. Please make a dark mode
Worst app I have ever used period
The app has a splash screen and yes you can skip it but it’s annoying to go to the top right corner of my phone just to skip every time. It used to connect to my iPhone now it just fails every time even if I can get the Bluetooth to connect. Lastly the device uses Bluetooth so even when it did connect it’s externally slow. Might as well get up and press the buttons manually. I have iPhone 13 Pro Max if that helps.

Garbage app
Slow to load, crashes, can’t log in on new phone as not enough characters for email and can’t reset as reloads each time you check email to try and rest. Be nice to just use the light.
Won’t connect
It has been working fine for months until it stopped connecting to Bluetooth.
FOUND AN APP THAT WORKS WITH DEVICE( not this)
I’m only rating 5 stars so people will see this but know this app sucks… OK so basically I got the skylight evolve and COULD NOT connect it to the device. Now I still love mine and just unplug to turn off but now that’s changed. To those looking in the reviews, the app that it will connect to EASILY is Tuya Smart I have this app for my robot vacuum and went to turn it on remotely and my skylight evolve pops up, I type in my WiFi password then boom, after almost 5 months of no app, I have on. Hope this helps :)

Light is very pretty but app is okay
The app takes forever to connect to light and is a little hard to use. The light on the other hand is perfect!

The timer function doesn’t make sense.
The all functions and does what it’s supposed to do. However, the app does not auto connect to your device which means you have to manually select it each time. The connection time can take 10 seconds which feels like forever. Not a dealbreaker, just annoying. But the biggest gripe I have with this app is the super confusing and inconsistent timer function. It doesn’t make sense to me and how the time on / shut off sliders work. I’ve tried every combination known to man and my light still randomly turns on and off and different times throughout the day or night. Please just add a simple time of day for the unit to turn on and a time of night for it to turn off which repeats at the same time every day.
