Where did the FUN go?
Loved this game until updated. I do not like the wood version...not a pleasing visual and you have to add so many blocks to get to a match. If you can’t go back to what a FUN GAME It use to be I guess I will have to delete the game. The new version is not fun to play at all!
I paid for hints I didn’t get
I have paid twice and still not received the hints. Can you fix this?
Do NOT purchase ad blocker!
I don’t usually write reviews, but this is important for others to know.
Love the game… similar to my favorite Brickshooter Egypt, BUT I’ve tried purchasing the ad blocker… only to be shown an ad directly after the purchase. At first I thought perhaps it would take some time for the purchase to go through… NOPE!!! I’ve tried getting the ad blocker at least 3x (shouldn’t have, I know, but I like the game and hate the ads). I’ve tried renewing purchases… NOPE! They just keep showing the ads. I’ve even deleted and restarted the game… NOPE! Still showing ads. I give up. I’m thinking of just deleting the game. I’ve had a similar experience on one of this company’s other games.

Paid for no ads, twice. Ads still there.
Normally I would rate this game a five star game, its very challenging. I purchased the NoAds option, they never went away. So, I purchased NoAds again. That is TWICE, Still the ads remain and these ads are annoying and very loud. I would like to play the game in silence! I sent an unanswered email, still has ads.

Unhappy player
I love this game but to start a new game you have to delete the app and download it again. This causes the ads to start again (which I paid to remove already) and it’s difficult to to get to the buttons at the bottom of the screen because they’re covered with ads you can’t remove. Can’t contact the app because the send button doesn’t send your message.

Очень люблю эту игру. Приятные цвета и плавные, приятные глазам линии, (а не как в следующей версии), но для меня есть несколько минусов, которые легко исправить..
70 уровней это мало
Если я прошла все уровни, то не могу обнулить всё и начать сначала. Постоянно появляется уровень 70...
Пройдя всю игру я не могу изменить уровни сложности,
нет возможности сохранять параллельно 2 уровня сложности (если в разные дни хочется играть с разной сложностью.
Буду рада играть ещё! Но после обновлений и апгрейтов.

Good but could be better
I purchased the game for both iOS and Android. The game play for Android is better and more like the original. As the level goes up, the complexity of the game increases with the addition of more color blocks. Unfortunately in iOS version, as the level goes up, the playing field is made smaller and smaller which renders them unplayable.

Objectionable slot ads
This is a really good puzzle. But the slot advertising prior to being able to play with this puzzle is frustrating. Why is this necessary? I would like to enjoy the game without the advertising of slot games that feature slutty cartoon come-on features. Why can’t I pay for the puzzle I want and play without the frustration.

Really enjoyable puzzle
I haven’t had this puzzle long, but already find myself needing to have just another go. Currently unwell stuck at home things like this are very handy until I can get well. Thanks to app developers well thought out! It took me awhile to figure out the way it works but now I’ve cottoned on I can’t get enough. Cheers!

So easy to cheat
Loved this game. I became highly addicted until I noticed that you can get the block you want next by do-undo-do-again repeatedly. The third block is NOT the same after the do-again and is NOT random either.
I reached master level 62 and had to stop. Skill and planning don't matter if you can ALWAYS get what you want.
Sad, as this was a good-enough replacement for BrickShooter.

Frustrating
I play this game at some point most days. But can’t get far through the levels without this annoying occurrence. I finish a level press the arrow to go to next level & the screen just goes black. Up pops ‘download now’ in small letters in top left hand corner. The only way to get out of this is to delete the game & then download it. Does anyone else get this?

Why does this app keep disappearing after having completed just a few games? Annoying! Apart from this announce, l love this game!
Great Stress Release
Outstanding game left to play it every time, I’m waiting to do something or waiting for the doctors office. Before level 55 at the master everything was great but when I hit level 56 I started having to hey for hits and nowhere in the instructions doesn’t explain the rules or what fee options are for pay. Have completed all levels up to master level 58 and only 12 levels left to complete entire game. Only wish there was more instructions for the game and how in purchases work.

Read This Before Playing!
This is an outstanding puzzle very similar to one of my all-time favorite games : Brickshooter Egypt. I was disappointed at first as there are only two blocks in each row and column whereas BE had three rows which allowed you to plan three moves ahead in each row and column. It took me playing almost 20 games before I realized that the brick in the upper right corner showed the next brick to appear in the row or column you activate and the block in the upper left showed you the one after that. This effectively allows you to plan four moves ahead in each row and column and place the new blocks where you need them most. Brilliant !!! Kudos to the dev !

This app used to look nicer before the left and right outer most columns of blocks were being truncated.

Gave it 3 stars because the further you get into the game...near the end of expert...playing same site for months..just cant get over the hump
Ad makes it crash
The ad for wooden block puzzle does not run and no way to get back to game without deleting app and reinstalling only to have it happen again when that ad runs again. But like the game

Block by Block version 2.7 is a GREAT game! It is very addictive and enjoyable to play. I keep coming back for "just one more game".
If you like match-3 games, you will definitely like playing Block by Block because it adds the element of strategy. There are three difficulty levels (Beginner, Expert and Master) that make the game relaxing fun for a novice and a real challenge at the master level.
The graphics are clean and attractive with straightforward controls. I downloaded the game just a few days ago, and it is already one of my favorites!

It's a great puzzle game that doesn't make you pay $$$
This is my go-to puzzle game when I'm waiting in real life for something or for another game to regenerate lives (or go through a game-pausing period b/c I don't want to pay to keep playing.
I've kept this game throughout the weird ad-attack phase and I just erase the data and start over when I finish all the levels.

Great puzzle game to pass the time
Makes a change from the normal match 3 games. Move blocks to blocks to clear by matching 3. Clear the board. Needs a bit of thought to work out your next move so u don't block yourself in. Fab stuff!
