Almost there…
you rock, block dock!
Can’t figure out how to play!
Hard puzzles, abrupt end
You have to move blocks, and over time, you learn various systems to get the blocks where you want them to be. The music is monotonous and there aren’t many satisfaction points- no cool sound when you pass a level, or even an ending animation for the level beyond the slightly flashing dock outlines. It just instantly moves you into the next challenge, which feels unrewarding.
The end has this problem, too. There’s no “chapters” for the different kinds of challenges, you just move through them all in linear fashion, until you’re suddenly back at level one. No ending, no warning, just “oh look, one square on the screen.” Worse still- it forgets any progress after level 88, so you’re perpetually stuck on the last level whenever you open the game after solving it once!
So, the puzzles are challenging and interesting, but the rest of the game design is definitely lacking. I still recommend it, I just want you to also know what to expect so you aren’t disappointed. I’m giving it two stars for the puzzles. I originally gave it four, but then discovered the “stay on the last level forever “ bug.
FUN
Great game
I would have given it 6 stars but there are only 88 levels 😭. Please expand the game! Thanks for filling in my need to win lol

Fun, challenging brain teaser
Great, challenging game
Great Game!
Surprisingly Great
So, what about 'Block Dock!'??? Gosh, could I have misjudged it any harder? I put aside my Clash games, my card games, my strategy and tower defence games, and rather than leaving Block Dock! for passing the time in public, I played it from start to finish within 3 days - at about 2-3 hours a day - and found myself wanting to pay for more levels after blitzing through the short-lived (but incredibly challenging) 88 levels...
Simplistic design and rules, but regardless of these limitations, this very much reminded me of a streamlined, cheap, and polished version of a chess scenario service/solver. Often having to read many moves ahead, I was sucked into this quaint brain-teaser problem solving game. Being so desperate for more of this game after I'd finished it, I started playing through it a second time, not remembering any of the puzzles and finding the first few levels to be just as challenging in their own way (and certainly no push-overs like you'd expect the first ones to be) as the end-game levels. To me, this clearly demonstrates that time, effort and careful thought was put into hand-crafting all 88 levels of this tiny gem of a puzzle game.
5 stars out of 5. If I were to have any complaints, as I said earlier it's that I can't pay for more levels. Not much of a complaint, hey? Amazing game for relaxing and kinda meditating to - zoning everything out but the clear goals of the linear puzzles in front of you. If you like to warm up your brain cells, I certainly recommend this game especially considering its bargain of a price!
PS: developers, if you see this, please consider paid-DLC ;D I can definitely see fans lapping it up - myself absolutely included!
