Combination of all my favorite game types

I love this game. It’s a step counter with a hint of AR (just that drops spawn on a real life map), a TCG, a real estate game, and an MMO with a player driven economy and plenty of competitive elements. It’s fun and gives me a reason to try to get out of the house and go for walks. If you don’t mind it being AI driven (the AI has limits to keep things kid appropriate), then this game will be fun for anyone.

More Than a Game, It’s a Whole World

Block Party is one of the most unique games I’ve played in a long time.

What makes Block Party special is that it doesn’t feel like just another mobile game. It blends collecting, creativity, exploration, community, and the real world in a way that keeps giving you something new to discover. You can collect cards, build incredible worlds, participate in events, hunt for drops, interact with other players, and still feel like you’re creating something that is completely your own.

The creativity is probably my favorite part. There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking the things you collect and turning them into a world that reflects your imagination. But what really elevates the experience is the community. The game gives people reasons to connect, collaborate, compete, solve mysteries, and share what they create.

I also appreciate that Pursuit Labs continues to build on the experience instead of letting the game become stagnant. There is a genuine sense that Block Party is still growing and that the possibilities are much bigger than what we see today.

It’s creative, strange, ambitious, addictive, and genuinely fun, and there really isn’t anything else quite like it.

If you enjoy collecting, building, exploring, puzzles, community events, or simply discovering something different, Block Party is absolutely worth experiencing.

Here’s to many more cards, drops, mysteries, creations, and adventures. ⚡️

My husband is addicted to this game

It’s ruining our marriage. He would rather play this game than spend time with our two literal babies. I hate this game.

how ingenious! 🥰

wow! what a cool idea! it gives me a reason to go walk all around, like i will walk to the store which is only like 1.3 miles away from my home instead of driving so i can collect new cards, and that's just one example! sometimes i even just go for a walk to collect cards. so i think that this is so cool because it gives people a reason to get up and walk around if they're lacking motivation. so i think that part of this app is the coolest. but on top pf that its really fun to see what the AI will come up with based on different selections. i think that this is a super cool app, alot of fun, and definitely worth the download! thanks developers! your creativity and innovation with this one are definitely deserving of attention! 🩷

Very fun

Game has a great combination of territory control and combining different cards to make crazy build designs

Bug

Ich mag das Spiel aber seit neusten kann ich keine Showdowns mehr machen da wenn ich auf spielen drücke nur kurz ein laderad kommt und dann da wieder Play steht.
Bitte fixt das.

Two problems.

I don’t like how every single time I try to make a showdown, it randomly spawns in a house or tries to make my stuff into a house? NONE of my cards are house related, so WHY does it keep generating a house?! Also, voting is completely unfair. People just vote for whatever they like the most instead of what is accurate to the prompt. Tired of getting last place when the other options were nothing related to the prompt. Voting needs at least 3-4 other votes per submission. Only one person voting is unfair.

Awesome!

Great game, really fun to play! No pressure to spend money to progress, and the things you would spend money on is very reasonable. 10/10 would recommend.

Generative AI

The environmental impacts that generative AI are horrible. It’s a fun enough game but I can’t support anything with AI in it.

Privacy?

Look at all the data they ‘need’ from you for you to be able to play. Why do you ‘need’ my phone number, for example?

Fun but location needs work

The game is fairly simple and seeing what buildings you can make based on the cards is always fun. Downside is that the game sometimes sets my location farther away than where I actually am.

Great but…

I loved the game but after the latest update, and start of season two the ai generator has gone from 100/10 to 0. Generating stuff that has nothing related to the cards I picked. Please fix this or go back to the ai model from before! And yes I have tried all the different model options.

Very fun and addictive

Community is amazing, the gameplay is fun and always changing. The developers are easy to contact and always willing to help immediately. Very much worth the download, whether you’re a casual player or dedicated.

Bitte auf android machen

Encouraged dangerous behaviour

It is impossible to get through this GPS game without playing while driving, which is illegal and dangerous. A bunch of « OG » players defend this behaviour as it advantages them but the weekly goals which dictate the game’s economy are absolutely impossible to achieve without playing with one hand on the phone and one on the wheel. Actually yes, you can spend around $40 a week in loot boxes to catch up of course! I’ve previously noted this game 2/5 but as the devs clearly don’t care at all about this and encourage this toxic behaviour I am correcting my review. Don’t engage in this game, the devs are greedy and it’s bound to die eventually anyways - not worth investing your time and your hundreds of dollars into it.

Worst ever

Constant glitches, I’ve collected thousands but can never use any on a lot because of the glitch.

Potential central

I really enjoy playing this game it has so many hooks but I find the lack of development annoying and I wish there were more types of goals and progression arcs. For example I assumed by attacking a wanted property there would be a way to own it but you only get a chance at the card - this is pretty disappointing as a lot of landmarks are owned and vacant meaning there’s no way anyone can develop the property if the original owner is inactive. I wish there was an easier way to see on a mini map where your properties are if they are geographically dispersed as it makes finding the drops and updating buildings difficult. It’s also super hard to save up enough energy to buy big buildings as you’re entering the showdowns all the time and you have to spend a lot of time voting to have enough to play if you aren’t a 10k steps a day kind of person. But overall I hope the developers listen to feedback and continue improving the gameplay overall instead of relying on just the collect and create hook.
