Handy, easy to use
Such a joy to use something that’s simple and well-built. Very enjoyable experience!
Terrific app…however: T’s & C’s ?
I’m a fan of this app and want to leave a five ⭐️ review…
About 6 years ago I paid for the lifetime subscription for this app and Blog Touch for WordPress. Drifted away from Blogger about the same time the developer took a hiatus from active support.
Just back from a road trip where I used Chrome for iPadOS and iOS for my travelblog. Clunky and slow.
I see the developer has started supporting BlogTouch for Blogger (I don’t think the WordPress app is under current development) and wrote some tests drafts, which I really liked. Easy formatting, smooth integration with media like photos. However I was unable to publish or even preview a post to my travelblog.
I believe in supporting independent developers. They put a lot of time and effort into their work, however since I had already paid for what I thought was a lifetime subscription to both apps, I emailed the developer to find out if my subscription was still covered, and after a week still have not heard back.
I’m willing to consider paying for a significant upgrade (from a ‘standard’ to a ‘Pro’ version for example) however I simply want to understand the

Lifetime Purchase Not Honored — Loss of Trust
I purchased lifetime access to BlogTouch Pro through the App Store. Now the app is asking me to pay again — even offering new “discounted” lifetime pricing — as if I never supported it before.
Let me be clear: the price isn’t the issue.
It’s how this was handled.
There was no notice, no account migration, no restore option that works, and no support for people who already paid. That’s not how you treat loyal users.
Even when a discounted price briefly appeared (screenshot attached), it disappeared after I contacted Apple support — and I still can’t access what I rightfully paid for. And even if I considered paying again, what’s to stop this from happening a second time?
I’ve lost faith in this developer and the app.
If you can’t restore my access, I want a refund — because I refuse to pay twice, and I can’t trust that you won’t revoke it again.
This isn’t just about one customer — it’s about the principle of honoring lifetime access for those who already supported your work.

Better Blogger Frontend
BlogTouch is a stable, clean, reliable tool that I use to manage my blog. I find it much easier to use this tool than the Blogger web interface.

Double pay
I bought the app several years ago. I paid for it. Used it. It was good. When it changed to a subscription based service. I feel that I’m supposed to pay for something that I already bought.
Volle Punktzahl.

Bought this app years ago, now have to buy subscription
I paid for this app some time ago then got the new version of the app (since the old version was no longer allowing me to post) and found out to use it I have to pay a subscription fee. While I liked the old version of this app, the new one is less user friendly.
New Version Is a Resurrection
i did not expect a full rewrite, with all problems fixed and lots of new features after all these years. Works great for me.
My only complaint: very long wait time to synch to blog. It’s not *that* much data!

👍🏼
Fast dev response and updates were made. I’ve been using Blog Touch for many years and hope to see the app improve with more features and updates.
You want me to pay again?
What a shock. I’ve used this app for years and now it wants me to buy a subscription after paying for it when I first started using it?
It was easier to remove the app from my iPhone and iPad.

So Speedy!
The newest update in September 2025 makes this updated for iOS 16!
How about considering iOS 17, 18 and 26. I guess we can expect that update in 2029.

Dear user, Thank you for your review, I'm taking notes of all of them. Sorry for the type, iOS 26 update is here. Regards.
Thanks for fixing the login issue
But the new version removed my premium purchase from before
Please help! Access blocked: Authorization Error – Error 401: deleted_client
I have been using BlogTouch for iOS for over a decade and recently encountered a serious issue when trying to log in with my Google account. The app shows the following error message during the authorization process:
“Access blocked: Authorization Error – Error 401: deleted_client (The OAuth client was deleted).”
From what I understand, this means that the OAuth client associated with BlogTouch has been deleted or is no longer valid. As a result, it is currently impossible to log in and use the app.
Since BlogTouch has been an extremely valuable tool for managing my Blogger site, I kindly ask if you could look into this issue and update the app with a valid OAuth client so that users can continue using it.
Thank you very much for your support and for providing such a helpful app.
Best regards, Kathy

Suddenly doesn’t work
The app is great, but posting suddenly doesn’t work with the error “the requested feed is deprecated”
Usually Works — But Some Posts Refuse to Publish
I’ve used this app for a long time, and most of the time it works well for posting directly to my Blogger site. However, I’ve run into a frustrating problem with certain posts that refuse to publish.
For example, I recently tried to post a spiritual-themed entry. The publish process starts, but it always ends with an error message and the post never goes live. I’ve retried multiple times and even restarted the app — same result. Interestingly, if I log into Blogger from my laptop browser, the exact same post publishes instantly with no errors.
This issue has been happening for quite a while, but I hadn’t been doing much blogging until recently. Now that I’m posting again, it’s clear the problem is still there. I’ve also noticed other recent reviews from users describing similar publishing issues, login problems, and concerns that the app hasn’t been updated in years — which may be part of the problem with newer iOS versions and Blogger updates.
I paid for this app because it used to be the best and most convenient way to post on the go, so I truly hope it will be fixed. If it’s no longer supported, it would be good to let users know.
I’m already running the latest version available in the App Store, so this isn’t a matter of needing to update. I can provide a screen recording and screenshots showing the exact error if needed.
Right now I’m giving it 1 star because I can’t rely on it, but if this issue is fixed I would gladly change my rating to 5 stars.
Device/Details:
• iPhone 13
• iOS 18.6
• App version: 6.8.0
