Bug fixing

User reviews

Beautiful clean and fully functioning app, but not offline ready.

New review:
I was logged out after updating and can't log back in. No Twitter login does anything. Can't use forgot password. No support available.

Original Review:

Pros:
•Free
•Nice, clean interface.
•Easy swipe to view previous donations.
•Can enter other types of donations.
•Fields for location, receiver and note.
•Can enter custom time period to wait before giving, which it will add to your calendar and send you a push notification.
•Displays your total in Pints & Gallons or Liters (👍)
•Backups your donations online(👍). Upon re-signing in your info restores.

Cons:
• [-1 ⭐] The backup comes at a price: Although you can view your donations offline, an Internet connection is required to add or modify donations. Especially if you're on an iPod Touch this stinks.
•Can't change calendar message. It simply adds a "Its time to help someone" to your calendar on the day you should give next based on the custom days you entered. It would be nice to edit it. (To turn off and be able to delete from calendar, you need to revoke calendar access from privacy settings).

Other ideas:
•The public stock levels of blood would be nice.

💉BOTTOM LINE:
There will probably never be a better app than this to keep track of your blood donations. Assuming you have an internet connection.

Fits the bill

Overall, if you're looking for an app to track your blood donations and remind you it's time to donate, this is the one. Here's why:

When I realized I wanted a blood donation tracker, there were 5 things I wanted:
1. Reminders when it's time to donate
2. Ability to retroactively record blood donations (ie record a donation from two weeks ago)
3. Ability to record type of donation (blood vs. plasma, etc.)
4. Ability to adjust required amount of time between donations
5. Ability to record my blood type

This app successfully does all these things, with a very nice interface. To mention a couple downsides, it:

1. Does not allow for different re-donate timers based on what you last donated (all though you can just manually adjust the timer every time you switch what you donate)
2. Crashed when I tried to sync with facebook, although that's a feature I don't really care about
3. Does not allow use of the front camera when setting the image, which makes it difficult to take a picture of your own face for your profile (this is extremely nit-picky of me though)

What's with the bogus meetings???

During a busy week of travel, I discovered a mysterious evening meeting that overlapped a flight. After chasing it for awhile, I resigned myself to letting someone down. Only at the meeting time did the app make it apparent that this was not a real appointment.

I revoked your calendar access and I'm considering dumping the app. Not cool

Good, but could be better

It's really nothing special. It seems to be good for tracking how much blood you've given, when you've given, and when to donate again but that's all. I'd really like to see some fun features in this app such as goals, finding donating areas near you, and charts that show various stats over time such as cholesterol, amount of donations, heart rate, etc. This app has a lot of potential that I wish it would meet because I love the simple set up of it.
