User reviews

A template app, very scammy for $$

Seen similar apps too many times, all using the same template, 5 pages of introduction then force purchase.

I am not sure if it does have any real features but one thing for sure is, it asks your $$$$

Scamming app

This is one of the 6 apps that I noticed providing substantially the same contents in the app trying to fool around to trick users to pay.

I strongly believe they are all generated by the same group of people, although listed in different developer names, and manipulated the ranking algo. The apps are
1. Blood Pressure - Track Stress, by Madu Khoury
2. Blood Pressure. Health Monitor, by Alfie Quinlevan
3. Blood Pressure: Monitor Pro, by Musa Yunar
4. Blood Pressure: Track Stress, by Rafael Widrich
5. Heart Rate Monitor . Pulse, by Giorgi Kamadadze
6. Heart Rate, Pulse Tracker Pro, by AHMET ILGI YUKSEL

The reasons why I believe they are scamming / malicious apps:
1. They all do the same trick: On the first launch, show 5 pages of introduction, followed by a “Continue” button which triggers “Purchase” action.
2. The cancel button on the last introduction page is hidden for 5 seconds, trick users to tap “Continue” again to leave this page.
3. Their designs are substantially the same, all based on the same template, with different skins though.
4. The developer accounts all have the same non-secure HTTP instead of HTTPS support webpages, using the same template generated by tilda.ws, and again in different skins
5. All their support websites have nothing but an email address
6. All of the developer accounts are individual and have only one app
7. 5 of the apps are listed under Utilities category, instead of Health/Fitness or Medical
8. All of the apps are ranked as top 10 in the search results for keyword “ecg”
