What's New in Bloom
1.2.2
October 29, 2026
Your plants were drawn wrong, and we only noticed when we looked closely. Every leaf on every plant was growing out of the same side of the stem. A sapling came out as a feather with a bare stem up one edge; the budding stage as a ruffle on a stick. All of them now branch properly, both ways, the way the art was always meant to. The soil they stand in has been redrawn too — it was a flat mustard-coloured disc, and is now a mound of actual earth. GROWING SOMETHING NOW GETS A MOMENT When a habit pushes its plant to the next stage, Bloom shows you. The new plant, its name, and what it took to get there. The stages have always been announced — but only as a notification, which meant the one person who never saw it was the one holding the phone. A NEW ICON, AND A LAUNCH SCREEN THAT SHOWS IT Bloom used to open on a small dark rectangle floating in cream. One piece of artwork was doing six jobs, and most of them need a transparent image rather than a painting. Each one is now drawn for its own job: the notification badge is a sprout instead of a white square, and the home-screen icon has proper Dark and Tinted versions for iOS 18 instead of letting the system guess. REMINDERS Finish everything before your morning reminder and that reminder no longer arrives. The evening one has always checked; the optional morning note did not. ONE SMALL BANNER Bloom has no subscription and nothing locked, so a single banner now pays for it. It sits at the bottom of the Today and Profile screens. Your garden never carries one, nothing interrupts you when you mark a habit done, and there are no full-screen ads anywhere in the app.
