Gacha System Change
First off, I love BA, I've been playing since D.Hina banner so about 2 years about now. I love from the gameplay, the stories, the art, the students, and the community. But Nexon has recently announced changes in the jp livestream to the pity system which squeezes all the players to spend more. It just smells corporate greed and anti-consumerism. We won't get these changes just yet but if they do, global will get these changes when we catch up to JP/KR. Please Nexon, listen to your community or a good portion of the community will leave and find something else! I can't in good conscience recommend this game if they follow through with the changes.

Good game but the support needs work.
I made an account while on a Taiwan vpn and I had lost access to my email so I decided to contact support for help so they could help me recover full access to my account, I provided more than enough evidence to prove I am the account holder and they still denied me because the account was made using a vpn and they only assist people from said place example being Taiwan or Hong Kong; Because I lived outside said country they refused to help me. Keep in mind I had spent over £100+ on this account making this situation very frustrating and annoying; Overall it’s a beautiful game and would recommend but make sure to keep your gmail and account information tight otherwise you’re on your own.

The currency credits is basically useless, the drop rates for getting new characters are horrible and then when you get doubles they give you nothing. It’s kinda a waste of time

Recent UI changes are nauseating
Literally nauseating. I'm playing on an iPhone 12 and the UI buttons are so small that they cause eye strain and nausea. No options to change UI to better suit play on a phone. I'll probably stop playing as a result.
Downfall
After spending many years, I had a great time on Blue Archive, but after this update, putting so much effort, so much time into the game, the gacha system got bad and in the future 3 months from now is getting worse. I spilt whatever pyroxenes and free 10 roll card I had and was forced to choose one and leave the other behind. I only had common draws. Just pyroxenes would be a serious waste of money and be bad investment. Please whoever is reading this, do not choose to invest time in this game, it’s going down a path of corruption and dismantlement, please don’t make the same mistake I have.

Future bad updates on the horizon
The game's characters, story, music are great, but the gacha system will change for the worst when it eventually catches up to the JP server's complete revamp of the gacha system, turning it from a shared-progress spark/claim at 200 system where if you luck out, you can get another featured unit with the same point counter, into a 50/50 coinflip at 100 points that can make it even worse for you to continue, and completely wipes your progress if you do obtain the rated up unit so you're forced to start from 0 pity for the next one.
This is made even worse since unlike other games that use the 50/50 system with single-character, long-running banners, this game runs multiple banners for short periods of time (sometimes up to 6+) consecutively where this system is actively detrimental. As a mid-heavy spender, I cannot recommend this game in its future state when that update inevitably arrives.

All the previous issues still exist but it’s been made worse. They completely ruined the character recruit system for a worse one, ignored feedback on it, and have provided the most corporate non-apology I’ve ever seen through a personal account.

Great game, loads fine
Disregard those that complain about long loading times when it’s their own wifi that can’t load even the loading bar. I’d say this actually loads quite fast, even on mobile data. The storyline is very suspenseful and interesting, and the gameplay is great. Though there’s a bug for me that says a session is active (I only play on one device) when trying to log in after the game exits (likely due to a RAM issue), but it’s easy to resolve and I can just restart the app.
