App works, bike rental is affordable
Used this app for rides on consecutive days in Belgium and it worked perfectly both times. I was able to pause the ride and digitally lock and unlock the bike repeatedly as I visited multiple attractions. When I was finally done, the app successfully ended the ride. This is often a problem with other bike share apps, so I was thrilled Blue-Bike handled this well. The bike itself is the standard heavy clunky bike share model, but you can’t beat the rates. The one caveat is that, in most cases, you need to return the bike back to where you checked it out from. This was ideal for my situation, but may not work for some. Overall, this is the best ride share app I’ve used so far.
