The "DBAN - Digital Blue Economy and Innovation Acceleration Network" project, led by Burgas Municipality and partnered with organizations in Bulgaria, Georgia, and Ukraine, aims to establish a regional Blue Growth Acceleration Network. This network supports SMEs in Blue Economy sectors, fostering innovation and sustainability through resources, partnerships, and funding. The project focuses on areas like maritime tourism, transport, and renewable energy, aligning with the European Green Deal and the CMA goals for the Black Sea. Key activities include local Hackathons, support for winning pilot projects, and regional expos to boost visibility and investment in sustainable Blue solutions across the partner regions.
