Unable to get songs to my library
Great idea - nowhere near ready for the App Store
Especially because if they had this right, I would have paid it in a heartbeat. So many great ideas here.

Thanks for taking the time to leave some feedback. The only reason that I have to charge is that everytime anyone does a search for song lyrics it incurs charges for the search engine that the app uses. If there was a free search engine (API) I would use that. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find one or otherwise, I'd be able to make the app a lot less expensive. As it is, I can barely justify keeping the app around. Please send me an email and I can give you more details. I'd love to hear more of what you like about the app and things you think could be better. support [at] bluegrassguru.com
Good until it stops working UPDATE
I
loved this app in jams until one day it stopped searching the web for tunes I was looking for after I downloaded the update. And these weren’t something obscure but they are all classics. I was able to get the lyrics from another computer on the same network. Very disappointed after paying $9.99.
Still waiting for “support”. They promise 24 hours response but that was 5 days ago.
Save your money

Sorry for the slow response. My support system was spammed and many questions got buried. The reason for charging is that every time someone searches for a song, it incurs a charge using a search engine. I haven't made a dime on this app yet but would like to improve it anyway. I'd love to hear more of your feedback. Please send me an email to support [at] bluegrassguru.com

Good start but couldn’t really try it out
In the app, nothing is pre-filled except the song list. This means the user must search for the lyrics of each song and will quickly need to pay for a membership to use it.
One a search is completed and the lyrics saved, each song has the lyrics. But the app has no means or mechanism to help you determine the melody or a chord pattern. I can understand why neither of those are included due to copyright restrictions, but you can find this information on other apps and websites. That makes those sites more useful than this app.
I hope the developer will look at the search problem and consider improving it, or offering more free surges to people trying the app. Also, being able to edit the song text files (to add key and chord pattern) would make it more useful.
Kudos to the developer for pre-organizing the content by tempo and time signatures. That is a welcome addition. Bonus kudos for serving the bluegrass music lover at all! With some tweaks, this could become my go-to jam app.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review of the app. Sorry if you experienced any problems with it. If you'd like to try out the free searches again, I could send you a promo code. I'd love to hear more of your feedback and exchange some ideas. There's definitely a lot of room for improvement, but I've also got to make sure it's viable for me to keep this app alive (since it costs me $ to keep the search engine going).
