Too many bugs

This app has somehow gotten more buggy since I used it 2 years ago. It’s hard to figure out what bibs I need to study again cause it says I haven’t answered any questions (even though i did) I can’t see how many points I got today. And clicking on practice exam results freezes the app.

Mostly good!

I used this to pick up HM2 and scored in the 99th percentile. No bibs or hardly any thing else. Only problem is it’s really buggy often

The development team is super responsive and works to keep study material relevant and current.

Impressive tool even on deployment for continuing exam prep in all environments with offline features. Premium version is well worth the price of admission.

Terrible software app

The app absolutely sucks. It’s always crashing and fails to log in, it’s always an error message saying to delete the app and reinstall. Even after doing so I still get the error message.

Must have for all Sailors

I used this app when I was up for E-6 and advanced my first time up. I downloaded the app again for the E-7 exam and it makes studying so much easier. It’s easy to navigate, has most unclass study material in one place, great practice exams, and can be tailored to your learning style. I recommend this app to all of peers and my Junior Sailors.

Along with the solid variety of well organized material study methods, had an issue with narration clarity and the main dev directly addressed the issue very quickly. Good stuff!

Almost Perfect!

I used Bluejacketeer for my E6 exam in September and it helped me finish in the 97th percentile for my rate my very first time taking the exam. I used the app about 3-4 times a week for two months leading up to the exam. My only gripe with the app is some of the bugs and crashes I have experienced. Other than that I would say the app is worthwhile and is seriously the only thing you need to study for the exam!

HM1 Selection: 1/27 Thanks to This App

I used Bluejackateer to prepare for the HM1 advancement exam and it made a massive difference. I raised my test score from a 59 to a 79.43, and it genuinely helped me get promoted to HM1.

The app is very intuitive and easy to use, but what really sets it apart is how well it identifies weak areas and keeps you focused on what you actually need to improve. It helped me dial in my study time instead of wasting hours reviewing things I already knew.

Also worth mentioning, Kayla’s customer service is outstanding. Quick responses, helpful, and clearly cares about the users.

If you’re studying for advancement, this app is absolutely worth it.

Unreliable

The app has had many issues this year. It used to be much more reliable for studying, but now I have to force close the app at least twice before it will sync and download the information. Wasted my money thinking I would be able to study on the go. Very disappointed with the app. I suggest just using the browser to study if you pay for the subscription.

Needs major bug fixed

I try to study for the AM E-7 exam. Regardless of what topic I try to study, it will only ask me questions for this one topic called “NDI” even if I am already in a different topic. I can’t study corrosion or NAMP, which are major sections of the exam so I feel like it is a waste of time for me.

Service: Amazing, App: Awful

You can’t go wrong using this service but I haven’t had a single sync go right since I started studying two months ago. I just use the site in the browser and it works perfectly. If I use the app it will literally recycle questions to me which I JUST answered and weren’t supposed to hit the front of the queue again until 2+ weeks from present.

If you want to learn how many times youre willing to have an app ask you to sign in over and over only to crash and give you repeated errors then look no further.

Greatness and Breakthrough

10/10 recommend!
I’ve pushed this to my Sailors my last 3 commands, had countless advance. Those that didn’t advance stated their scores increase by 20+ points.
100% worth the money, you get it back AND MORE when you get paid at the next rank!

Bluejacketeer is a forever evolving app. I am very excited for the new audio mode. They have flashcard options, BIBs to read, and multiple choice quizes. All options for all types of learning. They also have a very helpful team that can answer all your questions in a timely manner to put you at ease. I recommend this app to everyone!

Crashes Non-Stop

Works AMAZING on the computer-however I don’t ALWAYS have a computer on me to be able to use this. Given the fact I have to pay for this to study for my upcoming exam and the app doesn’t even work doesn’t make any sense. I can’t even utilize one of the options available to me after paying for this, such as the app, without it crashing.

Seriously this needs to be fixed because this is a great studying platform as well.

Bluejacketeer helped me make Chief!

I’ve used this site/app at every step of my career and have been successful each time. The study plans and games are very helpful and the daily quizzes keep you on track. I’ve recommended this to several junior sailors along the way who have also had success.

I highly recommend Bluejacketeer for whatever you are studying for!

Household Name!

Bluejacketeer has been a huge help throughout my career. From E4 to E7 board; even my ESWS! I can always count on them. Throughout the years, I’ve emailed them for different issues and I have always received assistance. They reply within an hour and are so reliable. Now they have an audio feature for those that need to hear information while studying. This is something I asked about a while back and I’m so glad they have been listening to us!

Can only switch ratings once a month?

For those interested in cross rating, not being able to look at other ratings whenever, is a deal breaker. BMR lets you change rating whenever you want. Not sure why you all trying to restrict this on a paid service? Makes no sense.
