Amazing app

highly recommended

This developer put in the work. Now I have to put in my work

Thank you for this app. Much appreciated. I hope the stem splitting can be developed further sometime.

Well designed, great support

Really learning to enjoy this app, when I first downloaded it, I could not zoom out far enough to see the whole song. I contacted support and they fixed this within hours. Amazing thank you so much for this great app. Can’t wait to try splitting stems next.

Recent Crashes

The app crashes whenever I try to import a new video from my photo library. I select the video, it compresses, and then when it asks me to name it, the app crashes and I’m back on the Home Screen. Later when I open the app, my file is there, with a long autogenerated name. But when I click on it, the app crashes again. It’s been about a month since I last used this app and it was working fine. I’m using it on my iPad 9th gen iPadOS 18.3.2. Thanks

Good app

I love this app because it does it’s job just the way it’s supposed to

Super Simple and Great Functions

Really great app that I use on a daily basis. I use it to practice my instruments and all the functions are really easy to use and are really helpful. Everything you need, Looping, transposing, speed change, Equalizer. Also if you want to hear the instruments more or the vocals, you can split the stems and adjust accordingly. Highly would recommend.

Great App!

Great little app.
Fantastic separation and impressive that the songs can be slowed down without the key being changed.

Fantastic app!

Very nice slow down feature AND moving through the video while on pause plays the sounds, so you can nicely see how passages are played. Some bugs, though, it keeps getting back already deleted tracks and then crashes, while other new tracks disappear… Bookmarks would also be a great feature!

Too expensive

Transcribe is much cheaper!

Working on one

Help Me

Simple and effective!

This cleancut and intuitive music analyzing tool is quickly becoming part of my daily work flow. As a YouTube guitar instructor, I needed something that would help me to study intricate tracks - BlueNote's slow down, isolation, and looping features have provided me with an awesome shortcut to learning and practicing new techniques. Highly recommended! -Rob

.

it’s a great app , it would be even better if there was an option to download the projects

The best music tool ever

I never wrote a review for any app before, but this app is by far the most mind blowing and underrated one I have used and it’s free. It’s super useful. I’ve gotten annoyed with going back 10 seconds on youtube when trying to learn songs then forgetting what the note is. The freeze feature fixes this and is a solution I have never thought of. Allowing users to import video is a really good feature for a phone app too. UI is amazing. 100% recommend.

Fantastic!

Hey, your App is amazing! Thank you for your work and publishing this App for free. A great feature would be if I could save the loops that I‘m working on in a project.

This is amazing

After like 2 minutes of using this I can say that that this is one of the best tools out there for transcribing songs. Even better than the paid desktop apps I’ve used in the past. It’s great that someone finally understands the pain of learning guitar by ear and then creates an awesome app out of it. The fact that you can press the snowflake to draw the note out for as long as you want while it’s paused and then scrub through the audio to hear the next part makes it possible to find the note on your guitar and match it with your your ears. I can’t put it into words how incredible that is. This let’s you hear every individual note in really fast shred solos accurately without getting lost, and makes “impossible” songs learnable, all while giving you the confidence that it’s correct. I’m almost embarrassed to say I have been slowing down songs and listening to the same distorted 5 second loops over and over for years and still getting it wrong. This takes out most of the guess work out and doesn't make this process absolutely miserable anymore. It also has all the basic controls you would want for an mp3 player that most other apps are missing and a simple interface that is intuitive to understand. Well done.

Response from developer

Wow, thanks so much! Glad you like it. Happy to hear any suggestions you might have - email me at daniel@codalabs.io. Cheers!

Amazing app!!!

Perfect in every way :)

Very Good

Works brilliantly. Have found it very useful so far, and the fact that it's free is a huge bonus.
I have had a bug where I've pressed play and nothing has happened, but that is fixed by shutting down the app and opening it again, so maybe that's something to be aware of.

Also, just some suggestions for quality of life improvements - maybe add a loading screen, as currently when either adding a file or opening a project, it sort of just sits there until it opens, so sometimes you feel a little unsure if it's working. Another thing, maybe make a drop down menu or something for switching audio channels, just makes it a bit more convenient than cycling through everything. Also, maybe make it such that you can play the audio whilst being on different apps.

Aside from that, brilliant app, very well done.
