Still Using
Account notifications on BlueSky still don’t work correctly several months after their debut. Some accounts don’t come through at all, and vibrations never occur when notifications land. BlueNotify continues to work as intended, though I wish I didn’t need two apps to do what other social media platforms could do with one.

Feature Recommendation
The app is great and it works well. It fills a void that Bluesky has. One feature I’d like to have is to customize the notification sound. Can we have that in a future update?
The push I needed to delete Twitter
Bluesky does not have post notifications. I needed post notifications for Wario64. Now I have them. Bankrupt Twitter!!!

Been waiting for this functionality from the native app, but this app works just as well for now.
One request I’d have, allow keywords so you only get notified if an account mentions a certain word, or even blacklist words so you don’t get notifications for things you don’t want to see. That might help this remain a useful app even if the main app adds in notifications for posts

Avoid!
This app is a good addition to Bluesky’s notifications.
However!!! I noticed the biggest red flag with this app is it does NOT require linking to your Bluesky account, it basically allows you to enter ANY account’s username.
That, to me, is the biggest security breach.

This app does not work for iOS. All you get is blank screens saying to log in to the account but a blank screen has no place to log in or do anything. JUNK

There are a few accounts I follow but because of the way Bluesky functions, I often miss their posts. This solves the problem effortlessly. My only suggestion to the dev team is to make it so the app itself doesn’t open every time you tap on the notification. Other than that, it’s great!
Bluesky is Now Usable
My biggest problem with Bluesky for me was that I couldn’t get Push Notifications for post from people I follow this app resolve that issue for me

Bluesky gained too many users too quickly to implement the features that are on their roadmap, all focus is keeping their app up and running as the massive migration occurs. This app fills in the gap and has streamlined the process. There are no bugs or lag that I have experienced.

Does the job!
This is a very simple app that does exactly what it is supposed to do: send notifications when certain people post on bluesky. They show up instantly and you can customize the types of posts you get per user

If you want to get post notifications for people on Bluesky then this will solve you problem! Super easy to setup and use and the notifications are seamless!
