Developer not responsive
Love the app, have used it daily for more than a decade. However, I recently bought a new phone and despite having long ago paid to permanently remove ads (at a quarter of the price now being charged to do so; if it were still $3.99 I’d probably shrug and pay again to avoid the hassle), I am now being attacked by pop-ups that appear on a per-note basis. Multiple emails to the developer about fixing the problem have gone unanswered. Will delete or revise this review should the issue be resolved.

Missing Notes and No Support
When I updated to iPhone 17 half of my BluLines notes disappeared and I was getting ads (after purchasing the premium version). To recover missing files BluLines suggested deleting then reinstalling the app. I did that and now ALL my files are gone. There is no support to fix this. I sent an email to the developer weeks ago and I’ve heard nothing. 10 years of notes and ideas gone. What a waste.

Used this app for years, now filled with constant adds. Terrible!!!! Shame on you all! There is better out there
Holds your notes hostage
I paid $6 dollars a few years ago for the ad free “one time purchase”
Now it’s asking me to pay $15 for the same ad free version

It's just a subscription to your notes app with extra steps.

Adds for a notes app should be met with a criminal prosecution.
Can’t get passed the ad
The ad pops up and freezes. I can’t get to any of my saved information.
Worst app. Very lengthy LOUD ads
When trying to open app to use my content, I am assaulted by LOUD very lengthy ads. It is so annoying to wait almost a minute for the ad to run before I can do anything on the app. I use this app as little as possible because of this. Absolutely refuse to buy the no ad feature as it makes no sense for this type of app.

App crashes when attempting a backup
Having being using this application for a long time; but this latest version doesn’t allow you to upload or email a backup of your notes. This is a good app, so can you please resolve the issue with the app crashing when attempting to do a backup. Thanks.
A good app for organizing notes/stuff you’re reading
I got this a long time ago, there were annoying bugs(one led to text missing while typing if rotation was on) but it seems to have been fixed in the past so my biggest complaint has been dealt with. I recommend buying the full version because the ads popping up all the time would have made my rating for this go down.
I use this app to save fics, RPs & some past writing. The app not only allows you to organize the text files but also make folders. As far as I know this was way before the default notes app had the folders options.(I use both but still like using this one more) Another thing this has over the default notes app is the ability to back up the app. This has come in handy when I switched from my old ipad to my current one(gen5 ipad mini) it allowed me to get back my old files again.
Only problem now is that I wish the app supported stuff like italics, bold, underline, & striked out. You can copy it in but if you leave the text file & come back it’s normal text with no italics nor anything. If this was fixed I think it’d pretty much perfect.

Lost notes!!
I used this app years ago was free and fine. I just paid for it a week ago and ALL my important notes have disappeared!!!! I want refund. Stay away guys

I purchased the paid version of this app many years ago, and have used it constantly over the years. Recently my IPad would not come on, and so on a new device from the Apple Store, I installed, the app again. I had expected to be able to put in my login information and receive my old notes, or at least to not have to purchase the app again. Well neither happened. I lost all my apps, and I did not get the features I already paid for. The absolute worst thing for me is, I reached out to Support, to the email provided and got no response. looking for a new notes ap now that blulines has added pop up ads very aggravating can't even move from page to page without an intrusive ad
Used to Great but now has too many ads!
It’s painful to use now with so many ads. I understand it’s to try and force me to buy the paid version, but it’s just going to force me off the app.

I have had this app for over ten years. It used to be amazing but now it is full of ads. Every time you try to go to a different page or folder ANOTHER stupid ad pops up. If they don’t stop I will transfer all data and find a new app that isn’t full of ads

Getting ridiculous
I loved blue lines when it came out. Now every time you click on it is an add YOU CANT GET RID OF. The X in the corner will not work. I don’t mind adds but I want to get to my notes! I am going to switch when I can get to the notes I have.

Absolutely horrible I paid a couple years ago not to have ads pop up. Now all of a sudden ads everywhere. Getting told again to pay for ad free. The time I paid was suppose to be a one time charge.
