Motivating!
I counted calories, joined a gym, did workouts at home because I was not comfortable in clothes. I lost the weight @61 years old and am now in a “ normal range”. BMI motivated me to lose and I knew what weight I needed to be!

Unnecessarily Rude
Downloaded this to check my BMI quickly on my phone AFTER WORKING OUT while I’m on a keto diet. Regardless the app tells me that whoops! I am overweight and “need to take better care” of myself and suggested working out in a very patronising way. What kind of fitness app does that? Particularly when the majority of people who care about their BMI are more likely to be taking care of their weight anyway? Additionally, you need to watch an ad before it gives you this rude response. Please, for your sanity, do not download this app.

Demoralizing app
Badly worded messages make app appear to be appalled that you are overweight "OMG! You are in a very dangerous condition! Act now!" And similar, I know I am overweight so maybe wording it just to say you are currently in the obese range etc would be better. I have deleted the app straight away after first use as I found it rude and messages were unnecessary.

Loaded on latest I phone and numeral pad won't leave screen so can't continue using ap

Extreme pop up ads
This app has so many pop up ads it's almost unusable. There are way better free options available.

I like the history angle. Suggested improvements to make it 5 stars: the age and height don't change very often; please save this between uses. Also, history without a date for each entry on view isn't history. Finally, in landscape view, the calculate button is out of view.
Also, on iPhone you can't add decimal kg - on the iPad you can.

Others don't like the comments it generates. I feel those people obviously need a BMI tool but some psychotherapy as well. I mean, is your skin so thin that an automatically generated stupid statement can ruffle your feathers??? Get on a treadmill. You'll feel better. Then the stupid comments will go away!! Great app.

Good, but could without editorial comments
The app does what it says it will. Easy to use. However, I DO NOT need an app making editorial comments about my BMI. I already know that. Why do you think I got the app? Frankly, if a person had been in front of me making those comments I probably would have smacked them. If the app thinks it is motivating people it is extremely off base. Get rid of the comments and it would be wonderful.
