I can never login with this app. Always tells me my info is wrong. But when logging in on the desktop I gain access every time. This app is a waste.

Really Touch ID wasnt that like 5 phones ago? If you hit that button by mistake app crash. Password requirements are over tedious. App barely usable and in some instances not usable at all. For instance you can’t search venues functionally for BMI live so you are at the mercy of you have added them on desktop as previously used. The whole app is klunky and wastes as much time as it should save you.
It’s pretty clear looking at BMI’s gigantic building in Nashville where they spend their money and it’s obviously not in building a simple app that would help their songwriters in any way to be collecting royalties.

HORRIBLE and USELESS
In times where the world is changing and we use apps for everything, this app is the worst. Feels like a 6 year old developed it. The app itself always felt outdated to me but at least it worked. It doesn’t work anymore. It rejects your password, tells you to reset it only to reject the new one. For as many people that use this service you would think BMI would care to hire a professional app developer. What a joke.

Deleted the app
Had this app for years, rarely use it. Checking to see if something was fixed today. It wanted me to reset my password to basically a 9 hundred word cryptic message. I did so, still doesn’t work. No thanks, I have a browser.
Just terrible.
I can’t even login to my account with my VALID credentials. I’m seeing that others are having the same and multiple other issues. Not even about to get caught up in this frustration. Deleting.
App Does Not Work
This app should be removed from the store. It clearly hasn’t been updated. Users are reporting they cannot login. Either update this app or have it removed from the App Store.

You have over 1.4 million writers, you can do better. I’m not even sure why they have an app. We can’t register works or songs with it and the password set is an absolute joke unless you like using passwords you have no way of remembering because the requirement is way too long. For some reason my apple devices never auto-fill even though the password is stored in iCloud key chain. I just don’t understand what the purpose of having the app is if all we can do is view information and not change or submit works.

Disappointed
Exact same telling me I need to update it, I then deleted it download it again and it still came with the same pop-up extremely frustrated can only access my account through the computer Which is totally inconvenient because a lot of the times I’m on the go and I don’t have my MacBook with me
Absolutely Horrible
Although this app sadly looked like it was created in the days of DOS in the early 90’s, it at least used to work. Now it suddenly doesn’t recognize my Touch ID at all and won’t even let me log in with my password. Then it says I need to update my password, which when I try to do by having Apple generate a secure password for it, it rejects the Apple generated password and says that the password needs to be at least 16 characters long, have no more than two recurring characters next to each other and have a blank space?? Meanwhile no numbers, special characters, or upper/lower case characters are required??? Well, Apple generated secure passwords don’t include spaces, and I’m pretty sure Apple has a bit more of a grasp on security than the developers BMI uses given the never ending tech failures with this app. A blank space??… really?? The login issues with this app have been on going for months now… this is completely unacceptable in this day and age. Beyond frustrated and seriously considering switching over to ASCAP if this isn’t fixed in the next couple weeks.

It keeps saying download a newer version takes you to the App Store but it says nothing about updating because it’s already updated

The iPhone mobile app defective right now
Trying to login, can’t do it, keeps telling me we need the new version, but then doesn’t make a new version available, sending me on an endless cycle! What’s going on here?!
App won’t update
Tells me to update app. There is no update in the App Store. I’m not able to login and BMI say they are still working on the problem. It’s been a year since an update what is really going on. I got work to upload. I hope they fix this soon.
App Won’t Let Me Log In
The app was working fine for me for a long time. Then it stopped working and keeps saying to download the new update. But there is no new update to download. When I delete the app and reinstall it says the same thing. I can’t log in, and cannot use my member services. Extremely disappointed

Whenever I try to log in there is a pop up saying I need to download the very latest version created. And when I try to click on it I already have it. There is no way for me to access my account.
