Never works

Anytime I’ve ever tried to use this app it spends precious time updating (you can’t leave the update screen or it will stop) and then even when it gets to 100% it still doesn’t open…

Unusable - stuck on downloading

The app is unusable because it forces me to download offline content before I can open it. This is unnecessary, as every hospital has Wi-Fi. Offline downloads should be optional or happen in the background. Instead, the app gets stuck on the download screen for hours, making it impossible to access any features. Please fix this so it can be used without mandatory downloads.

New version not fit for purpose

Had paid for subscription and then without warning the app has changed so not able to filter by topic, question type or to use it offline (all of which were the reasons I had purchased it)

Great medical educational app

I am a general practitioner, and I find this app to be fantastic. It is very concise, gets to the point succinctly and in easy-to-understand sections, and is regularly updated. It’s not too complex and can be used by various healthcare professionals.

issue regarding using in ipad

the app is very good and work properly on iphone
but in ipad not working
my ipad 11 pro ios 15

qctually when i open the app just white window was opened and i tried to delete and reinstall the app but no benifit

Sorry to hear the app is not working as expected on your iPad. We would recommend updating to the most current version of iOS (version 17). We would also advise checking the storage available on your iPad as this may be preventing BMJ Best Practice from loading. Good luck. Jane

Good info, poor app

Good site to get information for students doing study, but app requires frequent updates, each take at least two minutes with good wifi, and you have to keep the screen open on the app to finish the download. Very bad if you want a quick reference.

Thank you for your comments. We are shortly releasing a feature that will make users aware when some topics are being updated in the background. If the app is kept open to complete these very quick updates, the content will be fully up to date and the requirement for a full content download will be greatly reduced. Jane

This is helpful when you want to take a history, examine a patient on their first presentation, and so much more. I love using this in my acute medicine setting.
