App doesn’t change settings
App does not allow me to change any settings on the BMS. For example, I cannot switch the BMS from an 8s to 4s configuration.
Very bad app
The JK BMS software looks feature-rich at first glance, but in daily use it shows significant weaknesses. One of the biggest issues is the number of bugs, which makes operation unnecessarily frustrating. Some functions respond slowly or not at all, so certain settings cannot be configured reliably.
Another major drawback is the poor translation. Many menu items are unclear or appear to be automatically translated, which can lead to misunderstandings — especially when dealing with safety-relevant settings. For a battery management system, precise and technically correct language is essential.
In addition, some basic features do not work properly. For example, changing the password is unreliable or the new password is not saved correctly. This creates the impression that the software was not fully tested before release.
It is also surprising that even in the App Store the version history is still written in Chinese, despite the product clearly targeting an international audience. This gives the impression that localization and global usability are not a priority.
Overall, the JK software offers many options, but suffers from weak implementation and a lack of stability. With improved localization, a cleaner user interface, and proper bug fixes, it would have much more potential.

Обновился, интерфейс стал хуже, теперь при подключении пикает 3 раза. Хотел отключить, а теперь добавился еще один раз. Вообще не понимаю какой смысл от этого звука

Not connect to BMS after last update.
Not working
The app worked flawless, but several updates ago it stopped working on macOs. I hope that this matter will be resolved very soon. Switching all BMS’s for the competition is expensive, but managing different screens on an iPhone is to cumbersome for me
I can’t login to device
Hi. Actually, I know that the app is designed for iPhone, but I can install it on MacBook Air M1, open the app, find, and select my battery. After the login pop-up appeared, I couldn’t enter any symbols in the password field. Please, could you check and fix that? Thanks a lot!
Parameters issue
I didn’t get any updates but it starts showing status parameters in one column

Slow data polling.
Very slow to react to changes and trigger alarms.
No refreshing of signal wire resistance (even manually would be useful).
No pre-charge, can burn BMS when toggling ON/OFF main discharge path.
And no real OTA update. Even display for iOS is not correct. I assume Liquid Glass or UI refresh is never happening with this app 😞
