Doesn’t work when it counts
Not worth downloading unless they do a major overhaul. The design and navigation on the app is bad. The tracking feature is hard to find and freezes up. The gps function didn’t work at race time and we had to use “find my iPhone” instead to track each other. People with androids were out of luck.
Pretty frustrating with how expensive the race is and the fact that other world major marathons have much better apps

Tracking funktioniert nicht
Laut Tracking war die Läuferin schon 500m weiter als tatsächlich. Da nutzt man besser die “Wo ist?” App und teilt seinen Standort.

Aktualisierung Standorte
Leider aktualisiert die App trotz Tracking der Läufer*innen die Standorte nicht korrekt. Es gibt somit erhebliche Verzögerungen und man verpasst Läufer*innen.
Live Tracking funktioniert nicht
Leider hat das Live Tracking bei den Skatern gar nicht funktioniert. Schade!
Marathon nur für 17+ ???
Sieht sehr gut aus. Aber warum erst ab 17? Die Altersbeschränkung macht keinen Sinn. Bitte runter setzen, auch Jugendliche wollen sie nutzen.
Frustrating Experience for Spectators
Maybe the app is good for participants of the marathon. I don’t know.., but from the perspective of somebody who just wants to come and cheer for the inline skaters it is very frustrating. It is very difficult to find out the course of inline skating event. There is a PDF online that you can download. But in the app .. whenever you click on “skating” it shows the running information and it also doesn’t show the timetable… when they start, where they will be at what time.
That would be the number one thing I would assume the app should show for people who want to cheer on. Unfortunately the app hasn’t improved over the years. it’s 2025 now and it’s still frustrating experience.

Deutlich besser als die alte App, welche doch sehr langsam und umständlich war.
Einziges Manko: Man bekommt Push-Benachrichtigungen zum gravieren der Medaille und für Urkunden, auch wenn man selber gar nicht als Teilnehmer die App nutzt.

Worst marathon app
How can a World Major marathon have such a bad app? How hard is it to just hire the same people who makes the app for Boston, Chicago, New York? Really really bad

Schön gemacht, aber mit Inhaltlichen Fehlern
Die App ist wirklich schön geworden und auch übersichtlich. Als ich jedoch meinen eigenen Namen zum Tracking eingab, musste ich feststellen, dass meine Altersklasse falsch angegeben worden ist. Bei der Anmeldung sind alle Daten korrekt übermittelt worden. Daran kann es also nicht liegen.
