App wouldn’t allow to add new user or pictures. Many glitches such as app closes and picture not being in the same spot. Poor customer service, not responding to email.

Not happy with the app at all. Can’t use it for intended purpose whatsoever. Does not allow you to make sentences. All you can do is to put random words from the same category, as soon as you left the category, your words disappear. Tried to contact creators of the app...no reply... so definitely do not buy this app...look elsewhere!!!!

Horrible so far
I can’t add new pictures to boards it continuously says that it can’t download pictures at this time. Completely worthless and I wasted $5. I will definitely be trying to get my money back on this.
Update - I tried emailing the company to report this app not working and to hopefully get a refund and absolutely no response. So now I am out $5 and have an app that is basically useless to me as I can’t add the pictures that I need for my daughter.

The pictures are great. I made a new board right away, but the app crashes when I try to use it.

Limited usefulness
I am an SLP although I love Bitsboard, there is no built-in understanding of AAC in this app. Anything I wanted to do with it, I would have to create from scratch. Also, it is very buggy and non-responsive. I don't see using it with my students.
Nice communication app for special situations
I like this app with it's colourful pictures. It is mostly designed for a special situation like party, colouring, playdough or legos.

This app is perfect for my non verbal students. It is easy so easy to use. It will be a great start for them learning to use AAC to boost their communication.
worthwhile
I work in a Special Education unit where we often have a plethora of AAC options. This app is easy to customise and to create boards quickly. i can see that it would be very useful for families to use to assist communication at home.

Great potential. It could be used as a bridge to oral communication like PECs, as well as a basic ACD available for training and trialing with students that need support and even for scripted communication. thanks!!!
Useful tool...
This app is a useful tool for kids with apraxia. It has much content and you can tailor it to your child and add in content as well. Very helpful for parents and or teachers of kids who can't communicate well. Nice to have the favorites area so you can just access what you need from each content area. Hard to scroll down sometimes...keeps moving same content on the screen. I would recommend playing around with this and tailoring it for your needs.
