More ads than late night TV. Avoid. Developer responded and said there aren't more ads than the website. No kidding. This app is just the website in disguise. This is a very low effort app barely worth the Home Screen space.
But, if you want to dramatically cut down on ads get something like nextdns. That will help.

Unable to load
Won’t load asking for a subscription
Terrible app
I open the app it says I don’t have a subscription and it the crashes before I can do anything else. Would give it zero stars if I could.
Ads make this app unusable
Ads come up and make it impossible to read article. Cannot close ad when finishes.
