About

Body Explorer is a 3D atlas of the human body that fits in your pocket. Turn it, zoom in, peel it back layer by layer, and tap any structure to learn what it is. More than 2,000 individually selectable structures, from the largest bones to the smallest nerve branches, all rendered in real time on your iPhone or iPad. TAP TO LEARN Tap any part to see its name, its Latin term, the systems it belongs to and a short explanation of what it does. Step out to the region it sits in, or step in to the parts it contains. PEEL BACK THE LAYERS Skin, muscles, arteries, veins, nerves, bones, ligaments and organs each have their own layer. Fade any of them to glass to see what lies beneath, or long-press a layer to see that system on its own. ENGLISH AND HEBREW The whole app is available in English and Hebrew, with a right-to-left layout and Hebrew anatomy names. It follows your device's language and can be switched any time in Settings. MADE FOR STUDYING • Frame any structure in one tap • Latin terms alongside English names • Smooth on iPhone and iPad, with a battery-saving graphics mode • Respects Reduce Motion • Intimate anatomy is hidden by default and can be turned on in Settings OFFLINE AND PRIVATE Everything runs on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking, and nothing is collected. It works on a plane, in a lecture hall or anywhere without a signal. Built on open scientific data: BodyParts3D (© The Database Center for Life Science, CC BY 4.0). Full credits are in Settings. Body Explorer is for education and general reference. It is not medical advice.
