More measurements

How can I get more measurements

Did not work at all

Could not get it to work at all. It kept telling to restart device to calibrate camera which when done just did the same thing. Tried different walls and moved further and closer. Too much trouble to mess with.

Not great

The app doesn’t work right how it’s going to take measurements but don’t even get them right they really shouldn’t need any bodies help to do measurements

Frustrating

Once the camera is lined up, the slightest movement causes the voice over instructions to start back to the beginning.
If you are on the 1st pic or the last one. There should be a way to continue where the interruption happened.

Disappointed

Literally tried numerous times and it refuses to accept photos. Gave up after an hour

Useless

If you can’t move the picture to the arrow it’s not going to work. Happy to add to your downloads stats though. #Clickbait

Response from developer

Hi, Sorry you were not able to move the arrow. We would be happy to provide you with additional instructions via email at contact@body.id. Cheers

Impossible

It was IMPOSSIBLE to do the body scan picture. I tried multiple rooms, lighting, surface heights, etc for an hour and never succeeded in making the app happy. It tells you to move your head to a certain area after the fact and it would be nice if it showed where the top of your head should be when taking the photo. Completely infuriating waste of an hour.

Response from developer

Hello, Sorry about you experience. When it says to move to your head during photo review, you need to touch and drag the screen until the crosshair is right above the head. If you are having trouble seeing your head, it may help to stand a little closer to the camera. Again, sorry you were not able to complete it, butThanks for trying us out!

Forces you to pick the wrong parts of your body

Went through the whole thing and it kept making me pick specific parts of my body but wouldn’t let me pick the right part. The arrow was only letting me go left and right to see how wide the wrong part was. The results it printed out were totally off as a result. I followed all its instructions for taking the photo and took the photos at the appropriate heights. Needs to be recalibrated to give accurate measurements.

Response from developer

Hi there, Typically this means the head and feet points were not set correctly on the front and side view. If you provide the email you used to contact@body.id, then we would be happy to give you a few credits to try again! Best, BodyID

It maybe the user but I couldn’t get pass the two pictures.

The concept for the app is genius but the customer service is the worse I have ever experience. I reached out to the company for clarification on step after taking the first two pictures and it was like pulling teeth. After the 3rd email I threw in the towel and deleted the app.

Response from developer

Hi There, We did our best to explain the app instructions through email communication. We thought the conversation was quite friendly, but if seems the app itself was frustrating. If you could provide clear instructions on where you got stuck, we can certainly assist you in the process. Thanks! Best Regards, Dev Team

Pretty accurate

Not bad on the measurements, and it’s easy to use. Just make sure you have the most torn fitting clothes when take the measurements

Surprisingly accurate!

The process is a bit tedious but the measurements at the end were accurate. It even got the more obscure measures such as shoulder width and sleeve length from shoulder. The only measurement that was significantly off was the chest. My back isn’t particularly thick, but it is wide. I think requiring a back photo would make this more accurate.

Pretty close

Some of my measurements were off by 1/2” but overall a good record for checking progress while losing weight I guess. So wondering if I have to pay to get new measurements next month?

Is this some kind of Andy Kaufman type joke?

Is this some kind of social experiment? My phone was from 36 - 48 inches high yet it always told me my phone was too low and only at 27 inches. It had me retake the photo over and over. Completely useless.

Hate it.

I retried the picture evaluation thing over 5times and it never was just right. I don’t have the patience for this.

Response from developer

The only time it will ask you to retake is if the phone is less than 2.5 ft from the ground. Just make sure you are at a standard table height and you should be good to go!

Can’t Calibrate

Enter my height and weight but can’t get scanner to take my pictures

Measurements not accurate

Did my measurements manually and then did this and none of the numbers matched or came close. Very disappointed and glad the first scan is free.

Measurements are spot on!!!

Is this magic? Easy and works very well!

Love it!

Super easy to navigate and the measurements were accurate. Looking forward to tracking my fitness progress over time!

It didn’t work and it saves your photos

There are actually quite a few steps. And even then I couldn’t get past a step because I couldn’t move the indicator to top of head as it asked me to.

Also, the terms/policy states that it saves the photos it takes of you. No thank you.

Response from developer

Sharing data is completely voluntary when going through the measurement process. Data is only used internally for improving our service and is not shared with any third parties. If you do not wish to share data simply leave the machine learning checkbox unchecked. BodyID Team

Accuracy is spot on

This is the first app that accurately gets the measurements right. As an avid online shopper, I can FINALLY take my measurements the app gives me and apply them to any retailers “size chart” because let’s me real... who knows the difference between your waist, hips, and regular pant size is? Not me so thank you
