Usefull app
The Bolt USA app works great to monitor the battery charging process. In particular, it shows in real time the maximum and minimum battery cell voltages and the difference between the two.
When the battery is charging, some cells will charge faster than others leading to a mismatch in charging voltage levels among the 16 separate battery cells in a 48 volt golf cart battery.
The app will allow you to view the cell voltage balancing that takes place by the Battery Management
System within the battery after the charging is complete.
Balancing is important because the cells with the highest post charging voltage can be slowly damaged by the excessive voltage they can be charged to if the cells are too far out of balance.
The resulting damage from a high final charge voltage will reducing the lifespan of the battery.

App won’t pair up
When I first installed the battery my phone paired up with my battery then 2 days later it doesn’t recognize the battery.
App won’t pair battery gage with iPhone app
When my new golf cart BOLT battery was delivered three days ago, this app found my battery and connected so I could read the gage as long as I was within 5 feet of the golf cart. Four days later it stopped working completely. It no longer finds my golf cart battery.
