I built this app for my daughter. She has always loved a good story. But finding the right ones was never easy — she'd come home from the library with a book that was too old, too young, or just not her, and I'd watch that little spark of excitement fade. I knew the books she'd love were out there somewhere. We just couldn't find them. And standing in a shop, I could never quite tell whether a book was about right for her age. So I made BookCompass to help her find them — more from the authors she already loves, stories like her favourites, and the books other children are reading right now. It's brought a lot of new favourites to our bedtimes, and I'd love it to do the same for your family. Scan a book's barcode to look it up in seconds. A list of similar books will appear.
