Needs bookmark ability

Nice for language study. Needs a bookmark feature!

Why doesn’t this exist in standard scripture apps

Wonderful to have the verses laid out side by side. However, the lack of ability to bookmark or remember where I was is why I knocked it down a Star. I’m not sure why we can’t have bookmarks and other “memory” options, but it really does add a level of frustration as I have to find my way back to where I left off every day, but I find this method of studying in another language unparalleled. Having my own language next to the one I am reading and listening to helps me last longer in that language as I can easily stay in sync with the story when I get lost in unfamiliar language but still allow myself to continue to immerse myself in the language and see familiar words used in different variations (often teaching me new phrases that include new vocabulary) while simultaneously hearing them properly said.

Wonderful!!

Great for learning French.

Awesome Job

Great job, I am learning Russian and to read it along side the English version makes complete sense. The only suggestion I have is there needs to be a way of mark where you have left off. Thank you for considering it.

Japanese Needs Furigana

Even native Japanese readers need furigana to read the Japanese Book of Mormon. (The previous translate app which used to be free and now costs money had furigana.) This app mistakenly places the furigana in line with the characters, which is fine for hiragana only readers, but redundant and confusing for those who can read kanji. It is also missing chapter headings although the narrators include them. It is still great to listen to the native speakers narrate.

Requested feature

Thank you so much for writing this amazing app. Would it be possible for it to remember my chosen language and the location I left off at? It would also be amazing if I could swipe to the next chapter. It might be hard but it would also be nice to keep track of where I stopped listening if I didn’t finish the whole chapter.

Thanks again - this is exactly what I’ve wanted to help me retain my second language.

Excellent. Exactly what I was looking for!

Hello, thank you for putting this together. It is excellent! Great for reading in Spanish and seeing the English to reference for those words I don’t know. Question: can you make this into an EPUB file? (No audio) That would be great for my ebook reader. Thanks

This is great!

I love how audio is also included with each chapter. This is something I’ll be sharing with my boys as they prepare for their missions!

Thanks! 32ish foreign books off my back!

I was wondering if it would have Roman characters pronunciation in center in landscape mode. It may need to be requested online first for each language so the file is not huge. Thank You!
