Essential to any book dragon/book worm.
I have been using BookBuddy for years to catalog and keep track of my books. I have my own personal collection, an academia selection, a personal classroom set and a classroom library. I need to know what I have and where. BookBuddy lets me know and keeps me from duplicating books, lets me tag books for reference so I can easily plan lessons for the following year and I also mark books that did not go over well in my classroom and i won’t be using again. If I am in the mood to read a certain genre, I can just look at my tagged books and pick it out. It has also helped immensely not to grab a book in a series when I just want a one off read! Once you get started and all your books are in, it is easy to keep up. I had nearly 1700 books to start, took me a few days to get it all cataloged. ( It also helped see where I could downsize. I only have about 1100 now. lol)

Ultimate flexibility
Create your own categories, create your own tags. Manually enter any book; and the Pro edition lets you add as many books as you want without any subscription. This app allows me to keep track of my family’s entire library and I cannot find any other app that gets close to the customization I need without having a subscription. I really love that all the summarizes match the back of the book and not a random seller listing. I cannot stress how much of a game changer this app has been and how much I love the tag system.

Excellent for my purposes
Used this to catalog my collection of a few thousand books at the start of the pandemic. Didn’t want to move the books, this app allowed me to tag each book with it’s physical location. Have kept up with the new additions to the library. Use on iPad and iPhone. Had one problem with syncing and tech support resolved it right away.

Easy to use
I have tried several apps for recording my books and other books I have read. This one is easy to use and gives me all I want. It caters both for books I own and those I borrow, and also allows for a wish list, and it has all the data fields I would wish for. I was able to import those books I had reviewed on GoodReads. Searching on the app works well. I have only just started using Book Buddy, but so far am very satisfied.

Keeps me on track
I initially got BookBuddy to help me organize my books so i could know what i have. I have come to use it almost daily to keep me on track with the books i’ve read and those on my reading list. It is a great help and a real value. I have recommended it to numerous people.

Fantàstica App per ordenar i consultar la biblioteca. Boníssima!
Great App
I have over 600 books. This App is very user friendly. It allows me to even track my books that I have loaned out to people. It’s easy to scan new books in as well. All and all it’s a great App for keeping one’s library in order.
Love this App
I absolutely love this app, it tracks all of my books! I can use it across several platforms so while I’m out at stores, I can look at my book buddy and see if I already own a book that I was going to purchase because I have so many books, I can’t remember which ones I already have and do not have. It also lets me say where I’m storing the book because I store books in several places so I can put a location on it so I know exactly where to find my books. This has been an invaluable asset in my personal library.

Extremely useful!
Been using this app for managing my library. Easy to use with a visually appealing interface. Bar scanning is quick. Have had trouble with the online search and it may take several tries to get a result. Only suggestion would be the ability to add magazines. Even the addition of volume and issue entries would be helpful.

Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. Please get the latest version, which should fix the online search issue and let us know if it still occurs.
