Great App
I have over 600 books. This App is very user friendly. It allows me to even track my books that I have loaned out to people. It’s easy to scan new books in as well. All and all it’s a great App for keeping one’s library in order.
Love this App
I absolutely love this app, it tracks all of my books! I can use it across several platforms so while I’m out at stores, I can look at my book buddy and see if I already own a book that I was going to purchase because I have so many books, I can’t remember which ones I already have and do not have. It also lets me say where I’m storing the book because I store books in several places so I can put a location on it so I know exactly where to find my books. This has been an invaluable asset in my personal library.

Extremely useful!
Been using this app for managing my library. Easy to use with a visually appealing interface. Bar scanning is quick. Have had trouble with the online search and it may take several tries to get a result. Only suggestion would be the ability to add magazines. Even the addition of volume and issue entries would be helpful.

This is the best $4.99 my husband & I’ve ever spent!
LOVE this app!
I had no idea how many books I had or what they were worth until I catalogued them using BookBuddy+! At 1,300 and still counting—enough to add a rider to my renter’s insurance.
Good so far…
However I have one issue. If I scan multiple books by the same author that is from the same series it doesn’t automatically number them. I’ve also tried rearranging them in order but it won’t work. If this could be added in an update I’d be soooooo ecstatic: it’s gonna take AGES to go through em all myself LOL

I love this app! HOWEVER, can you please add a feature to where I can decide what fields I want to be standards/required? To have to manually add a field to each book is inefficient, and there are fields that I don’t use that I’d like to remove.🙂 *updated: the feature was there and somehow I missed it, thank you for responding!

Ein wirklicher Helfer
Ich habe mich lange darum gedrückt meine inzwischen beachtliche Privatsammlung zu katalogisieren. Mit Hilfe dieses einfach zu bedienenden und fantastischen Tools gelingt es mir sehr zu meiner Freude. Es macht die Arbeit so unendlich leichter. Aber es bleibt trotzdem Arbeit.
Fantastic book collection app
I really enjoy using this app. I migrated my library from a different system easily as BookBuddy allows import of csv files. The barcode scanning of new books works well and the user interface is clear and makes sense. I genuinely think this is one of the best designed and most useful apps I have ever had on phone/ipad.

Please note that the library is saved locally on the device rather than on the internet while devices are not syned by default. If you wish to sync your devices, go on both devices to BookBuddy > Settings > Sync, tap Select Service > iCloud > Merge, and your library should get synced. Let us know if you encounter any issue!

Eigentlich eine tolle App! Übersichtlich und liefert viele Möglichkeiten seine Bücher im Blick zu behalten! Leider funktioniert das Tracking für die Seitenzahlen nicht mehr richtig. Angezeigt wird die Gesamtzahl der gelesenen Seiten eines Buches immer am aktuellen Tag. Dadurch erhält man keinen Leseverlauf. Bsp: am ersten Tag 50 Seiten gelesen, dann steht im Tracking „50 Seiten“; am zweiten Tag 30 weitere Seiten gelesen, dann stehen im Tracking „80 Seiten“ und für Tag 1 „0 Seiten“.

Totally Worth the Price
I recently bought this app as I wanted to keep better track of the books I bought for myself, my children, and my nieces and nephews. It took a little while to figure out how I wanted to organize everything, but now I have it down and it is AMAZING. I don’t think I’ll ever stop using this app.
Good phone app
I really like the app and it would have been my first choice for my library, but it doesn’t have a desktop option. I have a pretty extensive library and really want to be able to use all the features on my laptop as well. The online sharing option is fine for sharing with friends but doesn’t provide any app features so I can’t use it to manage my library. Disappointing because I do really like the app’s overall features. I’m going with Libib instead.

Reading Stats Issue
I love this app. It has so many great features for tracking and cataloging books. However, I noticed recently that in the reading stats page, it double counted a few of my books that I finished. It mainly did that on a small handful of rereads.
