BS

It’s not wirking

Scanner does not work for me

The app correctly recognized only one of the first four ISBN bar codes I tried.

No Scan Capability

Tried to scan a barcode from a book fresh from the book store. Nothing. Sent this app packing.

Export

Where is the feature to allow you to print or download your database?

Vanishing covers

I was excited to see the disappearing cover bug was fixed, that is until I scanned several books today and now the previous covers are gone. Soooo, the bug is not fixed.

Nice and simple

This is a plain, nice and smooth little app. ISBN scanning works well. But is there a way to share the library? Like to export it? Also, it would be helpful if it would link entries made with the iPhone, so they show up in the iPad app as well.

I really love this until

When I first started using this app I loved it so much it helps me keep track of books so I don’t buy it again by accident but for some reason the covers of the books disappear and you can’t really tell unless you really remember the name wish they would fix that problem really liked it

Covers

Lost all of my covers both automatic and manual.

Bookcase

They won’t even let you send a negative report.
This could be a brilliant programme except after you close the programme you lose all your book cover pictures.

Response from developer

Hi Janterr, many apologies for this issue with book covers. This issue has now been fixed, the app has now been updated and it is available in the App Store. Please let me know at support@interactivecoconut.com if you have any further issues.

So much potential

This was the 5th book inventory app I download, the only one that actually came back with ‘some’ book data, but only identified 2 of 6 books. Needs to have a one tap to scan/add button as well

Needs a few fixes

I really like the idea but the app keeps crashing every time I try to go to covers. I have barely gone through one shelf of my books because it takes so long to load. I really like the app but wish it worked better

Response from developer

Hi Hitica, the app has had a huge update now (v2.0). I'd love for you to check it out and see if it works better for you now.

Good

Really good and helpful app. Well done!

Disappointed

I read all the reviews except for the other iPhone 7 user. I have the same problem. 20 books and no more.

Very useful

It's a very useful app. You can manage it very easily. I have used several apps like this and for me this is the best. It's worth a shot.

Simply solves this common problem

This app should have been built long ago. The ISBN scanner is very useful. Only comment - I would add more info on the book once it's recognized by the app. Wikipedia link? Cover pictures?

Needs work

iPhone 7 - crashes every time I use it after I loaded about 20 books to the point it's no longer useful. It read the ISBN numbers but didn't autofill the rest of the info for about 1/3 of them.

App about book

a great app. I use this app to manage my books. Good job.

Helpful for book management

This app is very useful for book tracking and management. Recommended it for every reader.

Great basic app, very simple

This is a great, simple app but unfortunately doesn't have some of the features I need. Design is nice, the barcode scanner works great, and the search function is fast and accurate.

But there are a couple of problems. One, there is no way to sort books other than title and author - not even whether the book is read or unread. Leaving the star rating blank would be a way to show you haven't read the book, but there's no way to do that either- a star rating seems to be required. Second, when sorting by author it appears to sort on first name rather than last name (which actually isn't a deal breaker since usually if I know the authors last name, I also know their first name, it's just kind of odd). But most importantly if you can't access the bar code, there is no lookup feature. If you can scan a bar code, the app very neatly fills in the title and author fields for you. But if the cover is torn or there's a price tag over the bar code or for whatever reason you can't scan the bar code, it would be nice if you could type in the title or the ISBN number and have it do a lookup to fill in the other fields. The only way I could find to add a book with an inaccessible bar code was to type it all in by hand.

That said, if you just want a simple list of books you own, this is a great app. I guess I just have to keep looking for something a bit more fully featured, or hope the developers do some more work on this one.
