Very bad - Horrible
I bought a book which was supposed to be in a good condition. The book with the binding off and put back by a tape. The first page stuck with glue and the last page along with the back cover having tears. The book was anything but in good condition. Further a video of the book was never sent. When I contacted customer care, Simran said that according to them the book is on a good condition and that video was sent. The refused to take the book back

Amazing services!
The app provides both used and new books and at varied prices. And now they have started providing the videos of the books that we are about to order as well, and I believe that’s an amazing feature. :)
Along with that, it provides a service of picking up used books! So, whenever, in doubt, what to do with the old ones, install DUMP app and sell them off hassle-free!
HOWEVER, the out of stock books get restocked very rarely and the prices of the old books are very less when we go to sell them :(

No books no timeline for delivery
Did the mistake of buying from bookchor for the first time last month. I am still waiting for the books and when enquired all they have to say is operational issue, warehouse issue. We need 7-8 more days to dispatch. Same story every week. They have no clue when it will be resolved and when the customer can expect a delivery. No mentioned of any delays while placing the order on the app/website. Not buying from them again. Really bad experience.

Better experience than buying from physical store
Received books before actual delivery time. The condition of the books was awesome and the packaging was good too. I really like their collection and would recommend it to all the book lovers. The overall experience couldn’t be better.
Amazing app
BookChor is an amazing app which has new and used (original) books. It provides amazing discounts and has a large collection for book, some only starting from ₹39 and good books are also available in ₹99. They also have some amazing collection of bookmarks.

Good app for second hand books
I have purchased 4-5 times from them. The prices are very pocket friendly and I even found some rare, special editions books that are hard to find in India at a very affordable rate. The condition of the books accurately described and are value for money. I had a bad experience once(got a book with pages missing), but upon contacting their customer service through WhatsApp, they refunded the price of the book. The customer service is slow to respond though. You need to raise queries a few times to get a response. I hope they improve this. They also sent you bookmarks with each order, which is a nice gesture! I also like their feature where you can see the videos of your books before getting packed.

Reliable and Good Quality Books
My Son likes to read a lot. Since there is no library nearby it was hard to find books for him but with Bookchor it’s very convenient. The delivery from Bangalore to Noida took less than a week time. All the books that I got were in good condition. Few of them were as good as new. I’ve already ordered 3-4 times and would definitely order again. I would like to recommend it to all the book readers to order it from Bookchor. Great work guys.

Unreliable app
Of all the books purchasing apps I use, this is by far the worst - whether it’s the app performance or the functionality. It takes ages to load and if not that, it crashes midway just when I’ve found the book that I need. I agree that you can find some if not most of your requirements here at a decent price, but because of the app issues I am put off and turn to other providers for the books I want to buy (which by the way are many).

Great app with amazing collection and service
Awesome collection of books for both kids and adults. The staff is helpful and responsive. Book conditions are pretty good. They send videos of books if requested. They also send hand written notes and bookmarks. Definitely recommend.

Kudos to Bookchor team for curating a collection of high-quality books at prices that won’t break the bank! Finally, a haven where affordability meets excellence. 📚🌟 Ordered 10 used books but I was pretty shock to see the new like conditions of the book. This is just amazing. Best book purchasing experience
One of my most favourite places to get used and/or new books from. Though, it would be great if you guy could upgrade the app as some issues pop up like “save for later” books show an error if attempted to be added to the cart. Maybe a newer app experience could be initiated.
Best out there
They have a huge collection of book that most websites outside of amazong/flipkart dont have. The advantage is obviously the great prices due to reselling books. Not only that, the books that i order came in almost new condition but for less than half the mrp. Not to mention, repurposing books is a great for the ecosystem!

Worst service and frauds
I bought 9 books out of which one was apparently not available. I get a call from them long after the supposed delivery date saying they are cancelling that particular order. Two weeks after that the rest of the books arrived and I was charged 150 extra, and when i inquired about it, was told it was shipping charges. I did not understand why I have to pay shipping charges as my initial order was above 500 and it was them who cancelled one book without informing me that shipping charges will be applied nor did they replaced the book.
After contacting them continuously for weeks ( their response time is another situation! You will get a response if they feel like it once a week) they tells me I can get a book worth of 80 and to close one which I did but the book never arrived. They gave a fake docket number and once I enquired after it, I got no response.
Do yourselves a favour and steer clear of this website. They are nothing but thrives and scammers who doesn’t even know what customer service is.
After contacting them continuously for weeks ( their response time is another situation! Great collection
Bookchor has a great collection of used books. You can choose from different conditions of the same book and they have lots of books that are almost new. Their service is also very good which includes sending videos of books before dispatching it if choose so, hand written notes and free book marks.

Excellent service and collection
BookChor’s speed in delivering books on top condition is incomparable. I ordered penguin clothbound classics quite anxious about how their conditions would be. They delivered it within a week and the hardcovers didn’t have a single scratch on it. They packed it in layers and even sent cute little bookmarks and handwritten thank you note.

TBH last time when I ordered, it took me 8-10 days to receive the books, as I’m in Bangalore. Today evening, keeping the same thought in mind, I ordered 12 books and to my surprise, I got them delivered in the evening itself. Sidharth was so friendly and coordinated with me and the delivery partner. The IOS app glitches are frustrating rest is perfect
I really want to tell you that how lovely it would be if you do something about the app issues.
Books already bought but stays in cart you removed them they reappear again
Wish list gets very confusing because of this. App crashes while browsing. So though the post books buying experience is amazing you should really do something about the app. Great work love buying from you guys
