Booko Buddy emerges into 2026, blinking at the unexpected sunlight! Thank you to everyone who found the app useful despite nine years of no maintenance. While no new features have been added, the app's underpinnings have been modernised and it should now work correctly on modern phone sizes as well as taking advantage of Liquid Glass on iOS26. The barcode scanner has been refreshed, and some bugs around search terms have been squashed. I hope the app continues to serve you well. This hotfix disables dark mode for the app. Full dark mode support is in development.

Used to be a favourite. I switched from iPhone 11 to 17. Now it just keeps crashing. Even the help function crashes. So disappointing.

Used to be a great app, saved me heaps of money buying books, but now it’s no longer supported and doesn’t work properly. So sad🥺
