Impossible to cancel
It is impossible to cancel the membership. They do not send monthly statements. I signed up for one month to be able to post pictures, years later I have been charged a monthly subscription. No phone number to call, just a suggestion email.
Annoying Notification
Just because you’re closed every Sunday doesn’t mean you have to remind me every second I’m trying to use the app

It’s ridiculous. They don’t moderate their APP - last update was 4 years ago and it’s full of spam and scam. When I wrote them about spam on their page - they disabled my account. This is ridiculous and obviously they making money from spam guys - I don’t see any other explanation here.

I’m using the app for rental in germany only.
Having been using the Apps “vinted” and “ebay kleinanzeigen” for years.
Bookoo seems virulently overloaded with ads, the usability is like an app from 15 years ago.
Thought, that it might be, because it’s developed and updated by two guys and it’s for free.
Nope it isn’t for free.
You’re not only overloaded with ads, you have to pay a pretty expansiv fee to use it properly.
Using the app is frustrating, why do you wanna even pay money to get frustrated?

The ads have ruined the app
There has always been some quirky this in this app, like that after you use the search bar you can not back space the text or add to it, you have to press “X” and start over everytime. Just a bit annoying.
What has ruined the app is the persistent ads. As a paid member I don’t want ads…..that’s a general statement for all paid apps. I get full screen ads and persistent ads on the top of the screen. I told the help desk multiple times about this and they just played dumb about. Not knowing why and asking for screenshots.

Scammers!!
I used to use Bookoo but lately it’s overrun with scammers. They all say the same spiel and address in such a bizarre way… Like “Hello Seller” or say stuff like “I will be using PayPal as it is the fastest and easiest way…. I will send the money now, so please give me your information” even though they haven’t even seen the item in person, especially for a big purchase like a car…AND THEY ALWAYS CLAIM TO BE OUT OF TOWN AND WILL USE A THIRD PARTY TO GRAB THE ITEM. If they claim they’re military but can’t use Navy Fed and insist on PayPal! RUN.

Doesn’t work
Cannot post an item to sell. Says that they cannot link due to the server. Issue has been going on for quite a while. Send emails to Bookoo but no response! It was working well in the past. Too bad!!
Could be good
It’s unfortunate the developers of this app seem to have advanced autism. Barely works and the whole closed on Sunday thing is super dumb. Hope nothing but the worst for them.

Uninstalled almost instantly. Facebook login wouldn’t work. App was slow to respond. Nearest site was hundreds of miles away.
Crushed by used car sales. Zero rating.
This app is quite terrible. The only reason people use it is to charge a premium to Americans in Germany.
Search function always gives result of used cars and TLA housing. Honestly, try it. Search for anything...it will give you used cars.
Real people can’t sell on here because it’s - quite simply - dominated by commercial sellers.

Unreliable
In the past, Bookoo, was a great way to get your items seen/sold. However, in the past year, or so, it is not such a great way. People are very slow, replying to your questions, or providing further info. Usually, you get no reply, at all. Also, it’s such a small base, that you tend to see an extremely limited amount, no matter what the item is you are seeking.
And, lastly, there is one seller, in particular, who owns a thrift store, in town, who weekly, or bi weekly, posts so many items, all in a row, and you need to get they all of that over priced, low quality stuff, to see current ads! I generally, just stop looking, and go, instead, to other sales sites. I have used Bookoo for years, and it is at its lowest point, in my opinion. Clean it up, and stop with the scam puppy posts, or shut down. Miss the Bookoo of the past.

It was cool if you can see how long the people have been on booko because that way you can tell whether they are fraudulent but otherwise everything fits
Worst app! Use FB
This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever worked with. I paid eight dollars to post photos that won’t post. And there is zero help or customer support. I don’t even know if the app is being maintained at all.

I like the app but I really feel that a business should have its own place to show it products. I have to scroll and scroll to just get past all their stuff to see what people post. Please either fix this issue or ban business from posting their stuff. Thank you.
Needs major improvements
The search function does not work properly. You can edit the word you search or add to it. And there should be a section only for golf. People will try to sell each golf ball, club, and bag individually and make a post for each and every single item. The fitness section is literally 90% single golf items by the same account and 10% everything else.

Currently it’s mostly full of people selling actual garbage like teapots and pants and there isn’t a way to block them so you can’t see there items so the entire home feed is someone selling plates and pants most of the time

That's just ridiculous. Why would you take away one of the two days in actually free to go buy stuff? Stupid
