Great audiobook player
Bookmarks should be a requirement for anything to be a book player. Something lacking from the default app on iOS.
Just wish the store page clearly laid out what is a free feature, and what isnβt. Itβs clear in the app, but seeing available purchases, and pro as one of them almost made me pass this one by, and that would have been my loss.

Itβs simple, itβs practical, it does exactly what I need, the UI is nice and clean with sensible config options. No ads, no bloat, no weird integrations. Thank you so much for building this wonderful little app!
Used to be 99% fantastic
Used to be a great app. Now bugs me so frequently for reviews and stars itβs becoming unusable (despite having done this at least twice before). Looking for a replacement.
Worthless
If you own epubs trying to transfer from Dropbox to BookPlayer is one of the most frustrating experiences ever. Mostly thanks to iOS horrible file management issues.

I use this app every single time I listen to audiobook files, and do believe it is one of the best out there, but do have one or two issues with it. The main issue I have is that there is no way to change the audio equalizer settings on this app. I normally have my phone set for utilizing different types of audio settings for different music types, but those settings do not work as well for spoken word. There is a somewhat easy fix for this, by going into my phone settings and changing it to spoken word whenever I am listening to an audiobook, but then I have to go back and change it again when I am done listening to the book. I would love for this app to be able to make those changes in the app, without having to change my phones audio settings, each and every time I use the app. If that were to change this app would get a 5+ stars but until then I am leaving it at four.

Beautiful App for M4B Files
I am making personal audiobooks for study with AI now and this is the perfect app to have an audiobook nicely organized by tracks/chapters/headings etc. I have experienced no issues with functionality.

Almost perfect
Everything works. The carplay compatibility is a nice feature. The progress bar above the playback controls is hard to use because itβs for the entire book instead of the current chapter.

Free is amazing and all you need
The app works great and I have no need for a pro. With that said it works so well, I was willing to throw them a few bucks and get the pro to support the developer. However, pro is a subscription model I am personally done with those and unwilling to do so. Thereβs a tip option but I would suggest supplying a lifetime purchase option
