This app is a no frills player for your audiobook files. It’s straight and to the point, does whatever you could want. When you pause to do something, it automatically rolls back a few or more seconds so you can more easily get back into where you were, I love that feature. You don’t have to pay to use the app, and the ability to connect easily to my Jellyfin server is peak performance. Couldn’t be an happier with a book playing app and I will be using this app forever

Crisp and Peofessional
Such a smooth user experience. I’m grateful for this app. I was able to pull my audiobook files from my PC onto this app through the desktop Apple Devices app. It works so well and smoothly.
Alarm issue
I love this up and I always like to listen to a book when i sleep. I place a timer for 30min and listen to my book as I fall asleep. But when my alarm goes off in the morning there is no sound and I have been arriving to work late. Please Please Please look into this. That is the only reason why it is not a 5 star app.

After downloading books locally with Audible on watch, I was astonished to see how quickly BookPlayer downloads them. The syncing between watch and phone is also super convenient

Fantastic App
I was trying to find a means to play audiobooks and kept running into apps that did not keep your place unless you got to the end of a chapter. BookPlayer was the one app that did exactly what I needed. Great app.

Best Audiobook Player
I have listened to hundreds of books on BookPlayer. It has never crashed or lost my place in the book. One of the most solid apps I have ever used. Just get it.
Too bad it doesn’t work on iOS 17
The subject says it: it is a great App; but for some reason it jumps with Apple’s updates, regardless of how sensible those are. My other greatly working devices on version 17 still and I cannot even download this App on those - what a shame!
