Free is amazing and all you need
The app works great and I have no need for a pro. With that said it works so well, I was willing to throw them a few bucks and get the pro to support the developer. However, pro is a subscription model I am personally done with those and unwilling to do so. There’s a tip option but I would suggest supplying a lifetime purchase option

The Pro version is so expensive that I had to remove a star. Otherwise it’s a great app for listening to books

Book player is one of my favorite app on my phone and one reason why I’m almost out of space on my one terabyte iPhone 13 pro max. I am quickly and easily able to download audio dramas I have put in dropbox on my phone and play them in book player. I would have been using the app many ydars ago if I had known how easy it is to use. I love being to listen to a great western, action, or fantacy drama from graphic audio any time I want. I hope this app is around for many many years to come. I love that at least once per month the app gets updates. There are some suggestions I have but overall the app is so cool.

Favorite audiobook player!!
Great app that I use daily. Only major gripe is that some settings seems to randomly reset even while playing a file. For some reason the chapter context setting for playback controls resets multiple times a day

Allow for chapter bookmarking.

It Just Works!
Nothing fancy, very little BS, just takes audio files I’ve put on Dropbox and allows me to listen to them as podcasts. I hate the stupid device I’m typing this on and keep on swearing I’ll get a dumphone, but no native mp3 player seems to be as good as this app for my purposes.
