Love it!
I love the functions of this app and how it helps me keep up with my personal library and my books completed.
Annoying subscription
The app itself seems great, and I was very excited to be able to catalog all my books. However, after spending around two hours scanning my books, it randomly tells me that I need to pay for the subscription in order to add more than 100 books to your library. This is incredibly frustrating as not being able to catalog all my books basically makes this app useless to me, and I really don't think that $60 is worth it at all for the permanent paid version. Again, if this wasn't an issue this app would be great. I know the developers need a way to monetize the app, but at least make it clearer when you download it that there is a book limit?

It helps me keep track of my plethora of books. I recommend it to others all the time.
Best free library app
Very searchable, easy to add numerous books quickly (batch scanning by upc code), no limit, can put in notes/keywords for searching, add older books manually and it doesn’t charge you once you hit a limit of books. Transferable across devices, stores your library so if your phone is lost you don’t lose it. I use it for a large work collection as well as a personal collection - can help you know what you’ve got especially when looking at books and completing a series! Highly recommended!

Great app
I use this app to help me keep track of all my books, what shelf they are on, and most importantly what books I actually have. It comes in super handy when at the book store and I can’t remember what books I need in a series.

Eu costumava usar o Goodreads, e ainda uso, mas tenho deixado cada vez mais. O bookshelf é mais adaptado à era do smartphone, sendo mais moderno, bonito e prático.

This is helping me get my books in order. I’m able to donate those I’ve already read and it keeps me from buying duplicates.

I love to thrift shop books and I tend to forget which ones I already own, so having my entire collection on this app lets me check which ones I need and which ones I don’t

Fantastic app for home organization.
Bookshelf has been very useful to organize our home library. I can categorize my books, document who is borrowing any books, add tags to group my curriculum books, and note where I have the book stored. Adding books is easy and I appreciate all the information and details I can add for each book. Would absolutely recommend!

A kids mode would be helpful
I like this app and would like my daughter to be able to use it. However the books that show up when we search for titles can vary from young children to mature adult and I don’t really want my child to to have access to these, even my tween and teens. The community tab as well can be a concern. I hope there are developments coming that will allow for a more age appropriate filter! Thanks

Cannot add more than 100 titles w/o paying money.
I was really happy with how this app works and the capabilities, until I found out I have to pay to add more than 100 titles!! Not cool. This app was recommended to me and that user is still able to add more titles without paying. Just be honest developer.

Absolutely love this for keeping up with what we have already so we don’t end up with doubles like we used to.

Love that I can make notes , easily move books from one shelf to another. You can also scan a batch of books at a time .

I really like this app for taking care of my collection of books keeping track of all my books is important to me Im learning to keep track of my reading goals also
Mixed feelings
I like the ease of adding books to my bookshelf on the app. Organization could be better but is generally good. My biggest beef with the functionality is that when I want to search books on my sister’s virtual shelf, I have to scroll for 800 years to triple check if she already owns a book. App could be greatly improved if there was a better search feature for people you’re connected to.
