Easy process
Sold a few books, most of them for under $1 but some of them compensated and it ended up being good money! Easy process, you can use usps to pick up at home and then payment was super easy and fast once they reviewed the books.

Lost two of the books I sent. Only paid $36 on a book where the offer was $45 without any explanation. Not the first time it’s happened.

Title says it all and they pay exceptionally well and are fair on book conditions where the other ones deny and keep your book for the smallest reason BooksRun will even talk to you about and see pictures beforehand the of the one flag refuses to discuss just complete you trade and send it and it’s a guess for 2 weeks. BooksRun condition lines are clear and if you do speak to someone beforehand you’ll never need to again they explain and help you so you’ll have a clear understanding

Waiting on cash Payment
I am disappointed with my experience using BooksRun. I sold my books through their platform and was expecting to receive the full payment as promised. Unfortunately, I have still not received all of the funds that are owed to me.
The process has been frustrating, and I expected better communication and faster resolution regarding my payment. If you are considering using BooksRun to sell your books, I recommend being cautious and closely monitoring your transaction to ensure you receive the full amount you are owed.
I hope BooksRun resolves this issue promptly and improves its payment process for future customers.

need more explanation
need to explain why a book’s sell back price has changed. also would be good to have the before and after buyback price showing as well. for logging in, please allow your site to remember both log in name and password
Excellent & Easy to use
I’m sorry I put off this task for over three years - because BooksRun and their app made it so easy for me to sell back my four boxes of used homeschool books. It’s a load off my mind to have the task completed.

The whole process was pretty straightforward and easy to do. I was a little speculative after reading some negative reviews, but overall my experience was very good. Mailing the books was super easy and they even give clear instructions for every step. The only issue I had was that it took about an extra few days than expected for them to complete reviewing my books and the status was still “in transit” despite fedex saying it was delivered. I was planning on emailing soon, but everything worked out, and the status went from in transit straight to completed. Better communication on what the status of the package is would be nice, but overall it’s not a huge issue, as the timeline wasn’t something I was super worried about. I sent in what i had, and they paid me what they said they would.

Easy peazy!
Downloaded the app and scanned my books in. Took them to FedEx and they boxed them carefully. I got the insurance because I don’t trust fedex sometimes lol! A week after they were received, I got my money! Smooth process.

Scanned my nursing books, they quoted them at $0.17 each!! SCAM!!

App doesn’t work on my iPhone
I have an older iPhone (a 13 Pro) but it runs iOS 26 (the current os) and this app doesn’t work because it never shows the QR code for shipping. After numerous emails to the company, I finally tried on my laptop and, voilà the code appeared.

Hard to sell much. Picky about returns.
This company was hard to find many books to sell back. They didn’t allow many books, then often come back and choose not to pay the full amount. But I am happy to get some books out of my house. I just find getting $6 for over 50 high quality, classical books to be pure robbery.
Changed offer on book to $0.00
Quoted $59+ for book. Book was packaged and shipped. After BooksRun received the book they changed the offer to $0.00. They posted a dark grainy image that they claimed showed damage to the book.

So many complaints on Reddit about ppl not being paid for their books shipped in, I'm not sending mine in anymore. I guess buying is okay BuT Do NOt sale to them yours. They'll claim your books are fake then ban you. Good read it yourself.
